I am an avid tv watcher and I purchased a Toshiba 50 inch plasma tv.  The televsion has a great picture, and the hi definition is very life like.  I am not an expert on the nuts and bolts of televisions, but the quality of the picture is very good. The on screen details of the character's face are very life like.  The only small complaint that I have is the sound quality could be a bit better.  It is a small detail, hoever in the over all rating of the tv.  I would recommend this tv ot anyone looking for a good quality set.
