Toshiba x205 makes gaming short lived!
When I got the x205 I was psyched I use the computer alot and my other laptop was worse for wear. For the ever day type online surfing and stuff I had no problem with the system. The screen is a beautiful size especially if you like PC gaming. I was warned that the unit was prone to overheating though and once I started to play world of warcraft again it was sadly proven right. At first I was playing on my desk and the first night I didn't notice cause I was to distracted. The next time I played though I started getting annoyed that the pads on my fingers on my left hand where getting numb. I checked the system with my other hand and sure enough the left hand side was so hot it had come up and through the keys and since the heat was a gradual but steady increase it made my fingers numb before I noticed the heat. When I ended up sick I played but I turned the system off once an hour, I was worried running it that long. The system is fine if I am not playing games on it but if I am it is bad enough where I am afraid it is going to hurt the internals, let alone if I actually set the system on my lap! The graphics are awesome but after about 25 min of gameplay it starts to run so poorly I have to turn all the settings down so low it is compareable in performance as my two year old non-gaming laptop. Ultimately the system is to hot to game and to large for everyday stuff.
