My husband researched laptop computers for 6 months.  We purchased the Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8900.  The screen is 17" which is a bit big.  We had a hard time finding a case that fit and fit our budget.  Different than a PC keyboard takes a little getting used to, especially the mouse.  My husband is on it all the time.  Battery life is about 3 hrs., which works for us.  Would recommend this product.  We are enjoying our Laptop Computer.

The picture and sound quality are great on the Toshiba. And I like the feel of the keyboard. But it often will stop typing mid sentence, which is very annoying. I am not happy with the Windows Vista operating system And I am not happy with Toshiba's customer service. When there are problems, they always refer me to someone else. Not helpful at all! It is a decent laptop for the money, but don't think I'd recommend it.

The Toshiba P305D really brings a good amount to work with to the forefront. It is equipted with ATI raedon graphics card as well as its much admired harmon kardon speakers built in. Along with its Fusion finish, it truly makes for a deam laptop for someone who would want it for media purposes or even hardcore gaming. Very appealing visually and crisp clear image on its 17'' lcd display as well as built in webcam makes it very versatile and multifunctional. You can really do a lot with this Laptop. Though its size is far from petite,with its extended keypad it surely brings quite some size to the laptop but not too much to where it is unmanagable. It is still very portable. The graphics card is a little to be desired for: I would have personally built it with a more powerful graphics card, but even with this in light, it is still worth its retail value. My Overall rating would be a 4.5 out of 5 .
