I have owned My Satellite Pro C650 Series for several years. During this time I have been satisfied with its performance. It has a AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics. My Operating System is not Windows 8, but I have Windows 7 Home Premiun SP1. It holds 8GB's of memory. I have a 15.6 inch screen and a built in Webcam. This computer has benefited my need to keep in touch with friends and family and has paid for itself. I have received pretty good customer service from Toshiba's Support Center for problems I might have incurred. My Toshiba Satellite is black in color. It has a Full-size Keyboard with 10-key. It has a slot for a Media Card Reader and is equipped for multiply DVD's. The cost of my Laptop was reasonable even though I purchased it on an account. It is a Laptop that I would recommend to anyone new to High-Tec or computers. Also, it is a great start for someone like me that is not very familiar with Windows 8. Ease of Use The use of my Toshiba Laptop is relatively easy. The problems arises from the different applications or browsers. Battery Life My battery life without a charge is 6 or 7 hours, but I have not ever let it go too long with charging. Support & Service I have gotten support from Toshiba's Support Center, as well as could be expected. Speed/Performance The performance of my Laptop has been great. I haven't had a computer crash. But my speed is not up to date, due to my Internet Provider. Design I like the design, but will expect more on my next Laptop purchase. Durability It has withstood my lack of knowledge before use.
We bought this computer about two years ago now. The whole computer itself and Windows 7 works very well. The only issues we have had is trying to install the itunes music. We tried multiple times and the computer kept on refusing the program. We had to call the Windows support team for help. The other issues was our own fault of accidentally accessing a non-protected website. A small computer virus got into our computer and it had to be professionally removed. Otherwise the computer is very simple and clean to use. All programs and applications are easily accessed. The device is easy to transport around. The battery life usually lasts about three or four hours and the computer can get recharged in a matter of thirty minutes. We have brought this computer many places including airplanes and trains. It has held together great. It does not take up much room and can even be stored in a bookshelf.
I was impressed with this computer until the hard drive failed shortly after the warranty had expired. The performance of the machine was everything you would want. I would have bought another if I hadn't experienced hard drive failures. I had bought a similar Toshiba for my son and he also had to replace the hard drive in his as well. I would buy another Toshiba if they get that issue resolved.
Overall a great laptop. Very fast startup and a lot of memory. We've had ours a while now and not one problem. It's affordable and I like this better than any big desktop I've owned. Ease of Use This is my first laptop and I got right on it! Extremely easy to figure out and use. I have not used the web cam on it yet so I cannot comment there but everything else was a breeze to figure out. Battery Life If your just on social media or using word, excel etc. then the battery is pretty good. If you watch a movie or play any games it will need to be charged after just 2 hours or so. I keep mine plugged in most of the time so it is always charged up just in case we lose power or something like that. Support & Service I have not had to use support or service yet so I rated an 8 since I think it's okay to assume it will be good. Speed/Performance Love the speed of this laptop! It starts up and is ready to go in under a minute. Combined with our high speed pages load up in the blink of an eye. Games play flawlessly. Design Very nice design, not heavy and folds up and fits in a standard laptop case. Durability So far very durable. My kids play on it and it has held up very well.
Been using for over 4 months and very happy! The battery life is the best i've had with any laptop i've owned in the past. The screen is very large and very easy to read. The keypad is the perfect size, not to large but not to small either. The mouse touch pad works great and haven't had the problems getting the cursor to where i want it to go like i've had with other laptop computers in the past. Overall very good computer and very fast with loading everything on start up! Ease of Use Dont like windows 8!
Not only is this computer priced reasonably, but it works very well and runs smoothly even with mulitple applications opened at one time. It is easy to transport and would highly recommend this to anyone working in a corporate office for business or just to play with. There may be a big hype about mac computers these days but I would prefer a PC over any other computer because they are much easier to use, and are great for small or large projects.
