Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807 Reviews

I purchased a new Toshiba Laptop March 2009, I have previously used Dell laptop and Hewlett packard and Compaque.  I am very impressed with the Toshiba for the price.  I spent $500 and have a great lap top that does everything I want it to.  Don't really care for the Windows Vista operating system but I am getting use to it. 

I bought this Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807 laptop almost 2 years ago from Circuit city. My old Sony VAIO laptop crashed and died, so i needed laptop for my personal use badly. Initially I considered buying either Dell or Toshiba based on feedbacks.

Dell is well known computer manufaturer and we use those computer for work and since having programming backgroud i know lot about Dell. But then i came across the review that mentioned that Toshiba is the oldest company in laptop computer and had really nice feedback from other users, so i thought i could give it a try and at that time this laptop...

I was fortunate that I won my Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807 in a contest.  It has a nice screen size.  Nice color.  And it does what I need it to do.

My one complaint is that it will freeze at sometimes the worst moments.  One thing I discovered to avoid the freezing is that I started shutting it down every night and that seems to have alleviated the problem.  I was also pleased to find out that it will automatically save your work if it does freeze and you have to restart.  I found that out quite by accident after spending a long time on a project only to have it freeze.  When I rebooted,...

I bought this laptop about a month ago, and I am very pleased with it.  It is small enough for me and has a lot of memory.  The price was the best part.  The only thing I've had a small problem with is occaisionally it will freeze.  If I shut it off and turn it on again, I usually end up right where I was when it froze.

This Tobshiba laptop meets all of my basic needs in regards to emailing, watching tv and movies. I recommend this highly because I have had two Toshibas and they both have been the most reliable laptops on the market. It has bells and whistles, but if you are a basic computer enthusiast then this machine is the one for you!

i really enjoyed this new toy when i first purchased it in sept 07. i loved having a new computer that i can carry around. this is my second toshiba and the first one gave me too many headaches. this one is working fine but too me some things do not seem right. after a couple weeks of using my comp. i would place it in sleep mode then reawaken my comp later, it would work fine until the screen kept blacking out i noticed that this pattern was becoming more frequent and i learned that it was not a bios problem but something else. i decided to disable the sleep mode altogether. since then i have...
