Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807 Review

i really enjoyed this new toy when i first purchased it in sept 07. i loved having a new computer that i can carry around. this is my second toshiba and the first one gave me too many headaches. this one is working fine but too me some things do not seem right. after a couple weeks of using my comp. i would place it in sleep mode then reawaken my comp later, it would work fine until the screen kept blacking out i noticed that this pattern was becoming more frequent and i learned that it was not a bios problem but something else. i decided to disable the sleep mode altogether. since then i have had no occurences of this. then later on i wanted to restore my comp. to an earlier date and i preceded to do so and it said that it was working then it would finish restart and then a error message would pop up saying that my comp. did not restore which was completely true. i sent a message to microsoft but they told me to contact toshiba which i do not want to do. i have tried at least three times to restore my comp. to an earlier date and still my comp. has not complied.

lately a least three times i would shut my comp. down and walk away. my comp. turns off by itself so i just let it be but a few times it pops up some error message and i click "whatever" and i continue to shut it off. then later turn my comp. on and my toolbar is all messed up and i have to rearrange everything that i had on it. icons would be out of place and so forth.

so i really enjoy having this toshiba but things keep happening and my faith in toshiba's products is waining.
