I enjoy using the Toshiba Satellite computer because it does everything I need it to do. I am a college student so I use it all the time, especially when I am taking online classes. When I am not in school I am surfing the web or playing games. It runs fast and does everything I need it too. When my friend recommended it I did not know about it because I hadn't heard about it before but because she has one, and loves it, I was okay looking into buying one. I went from a desktop computer to this Satellite laptop, it was an adjustment but after getting use to the smaller keyboard and compact design I wouldnt trade it for anything. I love being able to take it to any room or on the road with me. It has a nice big 15inch screen so that is is a plus. I dont miss my desk top at all and highly recommend this laptop to everyone. I use a mouse plugged into the usb port but my next purchase is gonna be a wireless mouse. this computer is great, it fast for me, i do a lot of work on computer, its a laptop and very easy to use. i can watch movies or listen to dvds and the battery life is great. i would recommend it toi anyone, i have windows vista but am goin to think about getting windows 7. i send emaILS FEW times a day and talk to my family on facebook, i love the search egines they are fast and i can alawys find what i want. the screen is just the right size and i love to watch tv programmes that i download on it.

So as I said, the Toshiba stinks!! I will NEVER buy another. It likes to randomly shut down (black screen), and I have to hold the power button down to completely shut off, in order to reboot it. When it was just 5 months old, the mouse stopped working, so it had to go the repair shop. Never again!!

I AM BY NO MEANS A COMPUTER EXPERT SO I NEEDED A LAPTOP EASY TO USE AND THIS ONE IS GREAT. ONE DOWNFAL IS BATTERY LIFE DOESNT LAST VEY LONG.

I have used, abused, and loved my Toshiba Satellite laptop for 5 years now. I am a full-time Realtor and have dragged this rugged laptop on appointment after appointment with great reliability. The battery life is average as far as laptops this age are concerned. However, I have never had to replace the battery, and it still holds a full charge with no problem. I have dropped it thrown it spilled in it you name it and it still works great. I would recommend and will buy a Toshiba laptop in the future. In terms of memory and functionality the electronics have performed excellent over the years....

My Toshiba A-105 laptop is my first laptop. I bought it in 2003 and although it has a lot of bells and whistles, I only use the basics. It was easy to use from just plugging it in. The battery life is poor, but I don't mind having it plugged in. The screen is 15.4" and is a great size for viewing videos and pictures. The quality is fantastic. Knock on wood, I've never had a problem with it, other than a virus. The weight is a little heavy for my liking, but I don't know if it is too much or just like everyone elses.

A minus on this is that you have to buy their battery for replacing the original....
