Toshiba, in my opinion, makes a great computer that is reliable and a real workhorse. It has bells and whistles that I don't even use or have explored, but for everyday usage, you can't beat it. I've had mine for over three years now and not once in the repair shop. How many other computers can you say that about.
The con to it: Low battery life when portable.
