I have had a number of Dell computers, but after my last one, I swore I will never buy another Dell.  The customer service, and having to call India to get something done, that takes days to accomplish ended my Dell Days.  I wanted something small and powerful, and I need to be able to produce documents when on my business trips.  I have been absolutely delighted with my Toshiba netbook, and smile with pride when people ask me about it because it is so neat looking.  I can absolutely recommend it to anyone.

The toshiba mini NB305 netbook PC has lived up to my expectations of a netbook computer when I bought it a few months ago.  I was looking ofr something small and portable as opposed to my old toshiba laptop.  I have not always had the best luck with Toshiba products, but I figured that I would try this netbook because I got such a great deal on it.  First of all, this netbook comes in three different colors, so I got a red one that kind of sets it apart...I never have any difficulty locating it because it stands out so much!  What is also great compared to the regular laptop is battery life.  I knew netbooks generally did well in this area, but I never expected to sometimes get eight or nine hours out of it before recharging.  That is crazy!  So you might wonder how the processing speed compares to other laptops and what types of functions you can run.  I have found everything is much quicker than my old laptop with downloading pictures and music...it is great!

I was really excited when Toshiba came out with this mini notebook. We have had Toshiba televisions and have always been very impressed with the quality, but had never tried a computer. I was extremely disappointed in this notebook. I was working on a slide show for my daughter's graduation and the computer froze up and wouldn't let me do anything. I returned it to the place I bought it and was told that to fix it would cost me nearly as much as to purchase another one. So, I purchased another one with the assurance that it "was just a fluke in the computer" but I lost all of my work and the pictures that I had been working with. Then, just two days later, the same thing happened. Luckily, I was able to exchange it this time and didn't have to buy another, but I was FURIOUS that all my hard work had been lost again. It took the computer store three hours to get all of my work from the notebook so that at least I would have it on disk. Once I finished that project, the notebook has been relegated to a simple email/internet computer. NO MORE storing of important things on this one.

Toshiba 305 has an excellent battery life and is super light weight. There is not a CD-rom drive so it isn't for gaming or anything like that. Perfect for surfing the web, emailing, and creating word documents.

My little Toshiba netbook surprised me when I first purchased it. I thought that I would have to return it because it seemed so small just looking at it online. But it works very well . The keyboards are almost the size of desktop computers and the screen displays everything clearly and it was reasonaably priced and very light weight and portable.

When I started grad school I decided I wanted something smaller to do my classwork on and mobile if I needed to work somewhere other than our home office. I searched and searched online to find the perfect netbook that fit our budget and my style. My favorite color is brown and I had no knowledge that compters even came in that color until I stumbled upon this one.  When we finally decided upon it I couldn't wait to try it out. The exterior is adorable and I love the brown option! It is incredibly lightweight and a wonderful size for carrying places. The computer does come with some restrictions to what programs you can add which makes sense because it is a netbook and others are this way as well. No cd drive so if you were to add some programs you'd have to have an external drive. The mouse pad is very sensitive and this drives me insane. I will be typing an email or an assignment and the next thing I know I've "clicked" somewhere on the page without even noticing. The touch pad is just far too sensitive than it should be. Overall, the design is what I was hoping for and I love that it is brown and it does all that I need it to. Great buy!

I've been wanting a netbook for quite a while, and finally got one for my birthday. I have had my Toshiba mini netbook for several months now, and I love it.  It is the perfect size for me - not too big, not too small.  It is remarkably light and easy to carry around.  It fits inside my purse, backpack, diaper bag - whatever.  The size of the keyboard is just right for me too.  The display screen is bright and large, and the netbook comes with some great energy-saving settings which extend the battery life.  There are times when I can go all day without plugging it in!  It is really simple to connect to the internet wherever I go - restaurant,airport, fast food, hotels, etc. I can easily choose a "public" setting for the internet connections when I'm out and about, which makes me fel more secure when connecting to these unknown networks.  Internet connection is easy to set up, and its fast! My only complaint would be that it doesn't have a CD ROM - but I don't know of a netbook that does.  It has an SD card slot and 3 USB ports, so you can plug in a CD ROM drive if you really need one.

I bought the he Toshiba mini NB 305 to use for word processing and internet access. I freelance write, and I wanted something portable. The computer is very lighweight and actually fits inside a large purse. I've owned it for about a month, and I haven't had any problems with it. The charge lasts much longer than a regular laptop or even my macbook. I can charge it overnight, and the charge will last at least eight hours. The computer comes with a built-in webcam, although it doesn't come with many programs. You have to add those yourself.  My only complaint would be that it is sometimes hard for me to read some small fonts because the screen is so small. However, I just enlarge the fonts in my document, and I can read them just fine. Maybe it's just my eye-sight! I usually enlarge the font to around 14. I would definitely recommend getting a mini Toshiba NB 305 if you are in the market for a simple, highly portable laptop. It would be great for traveling!

I received my Toshiba netbook from my husband for our  anniversary. I was skeptical at first because I had done some research on netbooks and was under impressed by the reviews. Speed was said to be an issue as well as the lack of expansion for memory. My husband did his research as well ( because my research was certainly not complete enough for him) and chose the Toshiba because it has an expandable memory and is plenty fast enough for web surfing and e-mail, which are my main objectives. Although the Toshiba is a little pricier than some of the other netbooks available, I feel the features and quality are worth the price. Pros.
