Purchased the Toshiba Sattelite L505 from Office Depot before Windows 7 was released. Toshiba sent the upgrade swiftly and at no cost to me. I was not entirely happy with Vista's performance on the laptop, though I can't say that I've yet found a computer running Vista that I've been thrilled with. As such, I loaded a copy of Ubuntu onto it, and it runs great! I was definitely looking for a durable and dependable laptop after my last one ended up breaking on me after only two years. I was drawn to the Tosiba laptop based on its price, and I have not been disappointed. I have found that my laptop offers great battery ife, and definitely meets all of my needs. I am on the go alot and watch movies and videos on my laptop and this is the computer for you. With its wide very clear screen that delivers crisp clear quality and Harman/Kardon speakers that deliver a fantastic sound and great acostics. It almost feels like your own mini movie theatre. Many people probably choose netbooks for their internet access capabilities. Not me. I wanted a small machine that could handle large volumes of note-taking and other writing chores on the road. This netbook is big enough so that my fingers fit perfectly on the keyboard, but small and light enough to bring with me everywhere. The battery lasts for nine hours before needing a charge. And if that weren't enough, this machine cost less than $375!

Toshiba Laptop computer
I bought my Toshiba laptop about 8 years ago at Circuit City. I needed it for school (writing papers mostly) but I got something a little nicer so I could play PC games and use my computer for some Graphics processing.
It's 8 years old so it runs Photoshop a little slowly compared to newer computers but it still works great and I don't have any problems with it. It lasted me all through school and now I use it for work and I still like it.
I know I'm going to have to replace it one of these days but for now, I'm not having any trouble with it and that's fine with me!

Toshiba Satellite 1955-S803
I have been working with computers since 1995 and I have seen my share of good and bad in all different brands, but when I ran across this Toshiba Satellite 1955-S803 I was amazed! It is pretty fast with a 2.5 ghz Intel 4 processor, 1 gig of RAM and an 80 gb harddrive. It also comes with ethernet and built-in wifi and has never given me any problems with connecting no matter where I happen to be.

Toshiba A105-S4094
Have gone through 3 harddrives and two batteries in two years on this computer. I typically use it for Word, Excel and the Internet. I don't think I would recommend this computer to anyone. The large screen is a nice feature. The sound also broke within two years.
