    Excellent picture quality, Normal DVDs look better, 5 free HD movies rebate, Can be found for around $100.00, Light weight

My first HD DVD player and I was impressed. It actually takes your regualr dvd's and makes them look even clearer. There is a slight freeze up when playing regular dvd movies, but it unfreezes before you can roll your eyes and start to get up. When you first turn on the dvd player, it does take a bit to "warm up" before you can even open it to put in the disc.
