I bought my husband one of these that was 20 gig, and liked it so much I bought one for myself. I like the idea of hard drive instead of flash drive storage, but you have to be careful not to drop it on it's head.  Great value for the money, I have yet to fill the disk with enough songs... with 80 gig... review »

having owned an iPod and having it break several times, i decided to go with a less costly mp3.  the cost of the toshiba was right, and the gb was enough to hold me with enough music.  some of the recording is not great.  but if it breaks, i wont have to be paying $300 for another iPod

They haven't worked all the kinks out yet
married, not rich, love to travel, noticing the details, a music lover!, not a fan of Wal-Mart brands, cost-conscious, expecting good, fair service

This is my first MP3 player so I'm not sure how to rate performance, but I can tell you about my experience.

At first it was difficult to set up & use. The 1st  time I plugged the device into my PC it downloaded every single image as well as icons into the image folder. This occured without any prompting on my part and was unexpected. Then to my dissmay I was unable to erase any of the images. There is nothing in the User's manual,nor the manufacturers website. I ever consulted others in various chat rooms to find a solution, but no one had an answer.
