I love the Toshiba Excite 10/1 inch AT305T16 Tablet! There are only two reasons why I am giving this nifty electronic product a "9" instead of a "10" is because it is thin and because the slot for the power adapter is directly in the center on the bottom. That is not a very convenient place to put it. I do like the fact that the camera is placed at the top in the middle on this particular model rather than on the left side, like it is on the Toshiba Thrive. I bought this item on amazon.com for my husband and then bought two more for my two teenagers , that are still living at home. I personally own a Toshiba Thrive tablet but that model was discontinued about a year or so ago. I really like the Toshiba brand of tablets. They are well-built and are user friendly. I have a 4 year old at home that is more than capable of playing her games on it ,while sitting next to me on the sofa. The Toshiba Excite uses an android operating system. There are plenty of free games and other apps available on Google Play , which comes loaded on the tablet. The pages load fast. It has nice sound quality and the graphics are amazing. It is very lightweight. The unit is about one-third as thick as the Toshiba Thrive. The unit charges quickly. It comes with a lithium ion battery. The glass is Gorilla Glass. Battery Life A full charge lasts about 6 hours for me. Processing Speed Loads pages swiftly. Weight This is where the unit turns me off. It is very lightweight. App Availability Comes with Google Play loaded. Design I like that the camera is on the top in the middle. I don't like it that the slot for the adapter is in the middle on the bottom. Durability So far it has been very durable. I just wish it wasn't so thin or lightweight.
