I was looking for a new flatscreen television to replace an older 25 inch Toshiba tube TV in my living room. I saw this 40 inch Toshiba on sale and since I never had any issues with my previous Toshiba, I decided to buy it. The first thing I noticed once it got to my house was that the box was quite bigger than the actual TV, and there was quite a few noticeable dents on the box itself. Though once I got the TV out of the box there was no actual damage. It was quite simple to setup once out of the box. I went through the few opening menus and then auto programmed the channels. It picked up all my cable channels plus the local HD channels. While the menu is lacking some options, this is a great TV for the price I paid. Sure it is not a top of the line model, but for what the TV is, it does a great job.

Toshiba- 40E200U 40 inch HDTV LCD Tv was the first major electronic purchase I have ever made in my life.  It was well worth it and I am extrememly satisfied with it.  I absolutely have no regrets.  The 40 inches is the perfect size.  The picture is extremely crisp and clear.  Even though the television isn't 3D, the picture is so incredible that I feel like I am watching a program or sporting event in 3 dimension.  The Toshiba 40 inch HDTV LCD has the ability to pause and freeze a shot in the middle of a program.  The television also has 3 HDMI imputs which is perfect to hook up a DVD, VCR, Gaming system or USB device to you can plug your computer into the tv and wach programs from your computer on the HD television.  It works beautiully and the sound is also amazing.  I absolutely love this product and am so happy with it.  It got it for a great price and everyday is a pleasure watching somethng in this television, especialy in high defenition.  there is nothing else like it.
