Torrid —

I've been shopping and Torrid off and on for the last 4 years, I even worked there for a back to school season prior to moving out of state about 4 years ago (I hated working there, let me tell you, they expect you to be like the used car salesmen of the clothing industry).

Anyways, I've always thought their clothes were WAY over priced for what you get. But lately my experiences with them get worse and worse! I bought a pair of jeans from them about 3 months ago, spent near $50 for this one pair of jeans, and they are already worn out. I wore them maybe a couple of times a week and where my thighs rub a little they wore in a hole! After 3 months!!!!!!!!!! I also had bought a $44 tank top with adjustable straps, after wearing it twice one of the plastic adjusters on the strap broke, after a 3rd time the other one broke! I also recently bought a pink 3/4 length sleeve cardigan off of their clearance deal, I bought it in the same size as all of my other cardigans and when I received it in the mail and tried it on.. the sleeves were so tight they were cutting off blood circulation!!! Another shirt from the same order as the pink cardigan wouldn't even fit over my hips. It was a cute flower print shirt, and I bought the same size as my other shirts that are a similar style and the bottom part of the shirt wouldn't fit over my hips, so it was bunching up at my waist. Any larger of a size and I would have been swimming in the upper portion of it.

You spend so much money and the clothes fall apart after a few wearings, if you even get that far! And God forbid you wash these clothes and put them through the dryer, you'll be sorry.. their care tag should come with a warning "Tumble Dry Low at Own Risk: Clothes will SEVERELY shrink in all of the wrong places"
