Torrid.com and Torrid stores feature fun clothes for the plus size chick.  They are specifically engineered for junior plus girls, which I think is awesome because there aren't a lot of selections in this genre.

That said, I've gotten to try on these clothes in their stores and they are:
  • very formfitting - could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your taste/body type
  • a bit pricey - I considered buying one top and a vest, full price, and it would have been $80 plus tax... honestly, that's more than I like to spend
  • trendy - fun and sassy fashion is hard to find in plus-sizes - this is it!
They do have really excellent clearance prices, but watch out - you cannot return a clearance item.  I don't feel like the quality is that great; I would say, shop clearance if you can and launder gently.

If you are looking for unique fashions for larger sizes, check out Torrid.

Agreed. Very tight, very curve conscious - I get in moods where I want that, but mostly I like a little... "fluidity" to my clothes. Not baggy, form-conscious, but not... form-exaggerating. LOL

Great Review! I like the style of their stuff, but I often find that their clothes look better on the hanger than on me. Then again, while I like rock-n-roll, I don't dress like it much. I bet my husband would like it if I did once in a while, though! ;o)
