Most HelpfulSo we bought the Toro 51573 Leaf blower as we live in the city and near a lot of cottonwood trees. Tons of leaves fall in our yard and we figured that the Toro leaf blower would help with blowing the leaves either over the ravine in our yard or by blowing into a pile and then bagging for compost. Wow,...
review »The Toro is one of the best investments we-have made, It Mulches great to save on Yard bags and is electric. We all know how the gas prices are these days. We have alot of leaves and Maple tree can produce alot of them. With the Toro Blower & Vac we get the job done in less then half the time
I have my Toro Leaf Blower, mulcher for several years now. I recently moved to an area where there are as many trees in the entire subdivision as were just around my house with my neighbors, so I have not had a chance to use it here. However, before the move this Toro Leaf Blower, mulcher got much use throughout the year. I would have several weeks of work with leaves due to the several species dropping leaves starting in Aug. until Jan. All I had to do was to blow the leaves to a pile and suck'm up with the mulcher/bagger and done for that day. WOW!!! There were times when the leaves were just...
review »The Toro 51573 Leaf Blower. This leaft blower has put my old Craftsman to shame. It has more blowing power than any blower i've tried. Price is right and well worth the money. You try it you'll buy it.
I was very hopeful with this purchase, but somewhere between being worthless for my purposes and actually useful as a yard tool, I probably got what I paid for with the Toro 51573 Leaf Blower. My yard drops A LOT of leaves, and those leaves collect a lot of moisture. Like some others have suggested, this makes the mulch feature 10x labor intensive over, say, a rake. Even on dry leaves, the labor is still 2-3x labor intensive because of how you have to hold the unit to operate (slung over a shoulder while slightly angling the mouth in a slow arc). However, before this review sounds too negative,...
review »I BOUGHT MY TORO LEAFBLOWER IN THE FALL TO HELP PICK UP LEAVES. IT HAS A LARGE INTAKE NOZZLE THAT SUCKS UP A LOT OF LEAVES QUICKLY AND GRINDS THEM INTO A FINE MULCH. THE ZIPPER ON THE COLLECTION BAG RUNS THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE BAG WHICH MAKES EMPTYING EASY. THE TORO LEAFBLOWER CAN BE CHANGED FROM VACUUMING TO BLOWING IN SECONDS. THE VACUUM'S NOZZLE IS REMOVED AND THE LEAF BLOWER NOZZLE ATTACHES TO THIS END. THE VACUUM'S NOZZLE IS REMOVED AND A COVER FOR THE MOTOR TWISTS INTO PLACE ON THIS END. BLOWING POWER IS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT. I HAVE TRIED CORDLESS MODLES IN THE PAST AND I NOW...
review »Toro 51573 Leaf Blower. Have had this product for 4 years and it has been great for mulching. I have a smaller blower to blow leaves. I cannot change out the blower to mulcher. I have a hard time because I can't hold onto the parts to change it. I have a very short reach with my hands. It is a problem for me. I have a lot of trees and it does a good job on mulching leaves but not sweet gum balls. If you have small hands you may have a problem with changing it over. I just use it for mulching and it does a good job.
This is a must have for anyone that hates raking leaves, works well, not too noisy, and easy to keep clean.I find it helps me with my bad back,no as much bending over, and easy to empty.
Boy I can really get out there and move my leafs quick and fast and easy
