Topamax —
I was on Topamax for a few months during the first round and then again for about a week. During the first few months, I continued to experience tension headaches on an almost daily basis. However, I did not gain one single ounce of weight during the entire time, which was a major plus. I experiened some tingling in my fingertips. The most unpleasant side effect was the fact that it made soda taste flat. Being a confirmed caffeine addict, it was worse for me than the tingling. Since it didn't have much effect on my headaches, my neurologist took me off of the Topamax and we tried something new. Months later I tried Topamax again but the tingling was so bad I stopped taking it after a week.
