I think this is my new favorite show of the year. Top This Party airs on Lifetime and it is all about party planning. I am a reality show junkie, so this show hooked me. It features party planners in both Orange County, California and Las Vegas, Nevada. What really engages you in the show is the interactions of the planners with the hosts. Most of the hosts are upscale couples looking to top their neighbors parties and have the best spread their town has ever seen. Most parties have budgets almost in the millions, so they go all out. I love the party planners because they are always put in situations to find things at last minute. Whether it is to cover a outdoor party in the rain, find a baby tiger cub for a special host entrance, or double the food order when instead of 50 guests, there will be 500. This show keeps you engaged and you can't help but hope the planners succeed. Not only is this show a great dose of reality but you will also get great party planning ideas. This show is perfect for party planning and reality television.
