Bruce Willis has been in some of the best movies of the last 20 years, while also having been in some of the worst. Bearing that in mind, here are the Top Ten Bruce Willis Movies, as well as the Bottom Five Bruce Willis Movies.

THE TOP TEN:

1. Pulp Fiction (1994): Willis's role as washed-up boxer Butch Coolidge is the glue that holds Quentin Tarantino's fractured narrative together. Bruce has never been better, and this is easily the best film with which he's ever been involved. Same goes for Travolta. And Tarantino.

2. Die Hard (1988): After becoming a TV star on "Moonlighting," Willis emerged as a major action star in this tale of New York cop John McClane, who takes on a gang of terrorists who are holding everyone in a huge office building (including his estranged wife) hostage. Before you can say, "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf**ker," he starts to outwit (and kill off) the bad guys. Followed by three sequels over the next 20 years.

3. The Sixth Sense (1999): M. Night Shymalan's first film features Willis as Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a child psychologist who encounters a boy who claims to see ghosts who don't know they're dead.

3. Twelve Monkeys (1995): Terry Gilliam directed this dystopian sci-fi thats kind of like The Termminator in reverse: Willis must go back in time to stop a virus from killing five billion people. With Brad Pitt.

4. Breakfast of Champions (1999): Bruce plays used car dealer Dwayne Hoover in Alan Rudolph's adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's novel. Definitely a change of pace from his usual wise-cracking, gun-toting persona.

5. Sin City (2005): Willis is great in this four-part ensemble piece based on the Frank Miller graphic novel. As hardboiled cop John Hartigan, he is the epitome of word-weary nobility.

6. The Fifth Element (1997): Cool sci-fi from director Luc Besson stars Willis as a cab driver in the 23rd century who must help Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) do battle with Evil. Wild stuff.

7. Die Hard 2: Die Harder (1992): Even more violent sequel to Die Hard stretches credulity to the breaking point, but delivers the action in spades. When rogue soldiers of fortune take over LAX and threaten to blow up the plane carrying his wife, John McClane is forced to kick ass and take names.

8. Bandits (2001): Bruce sports a silly wig in this caper comedy, but Barry Levinson's direction and the chemistry between Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Cate Blanchett keep things moving.

9. Nobody's Fool (1994): Another fine supporting performance in this adadptation of Richard Russo's novel starring Paul Newman.

10. The Last Boy Scout (1991) and Last Man Standing (1995): The critics hated the former, while the latter was a big loser at the box office, but I found plenty to enjoy in both, as Bruce gets to do what he does best: shoot people and blow things up.

THE BOTTOM FIVE:

5. Unbreakable (2000): M. Night Shyamalan followed up his highly superior The Sixth Sense with this brooding comic-book fable about a guy who's indestructible. Not half bad until the terrible ending, one of the worst ever.

4. Look Who's Talking Too (1990), North (1994), and Rugrats Go Wild (2003): Sure, Bruce only lent his voice to these awful films, but that's enough for a three-way tie for fourth worst movie of his career.

3. The Whole Ten Yards (2004): The 2000 comedy The Whole Nine Yards was OK, but did we really need a sequel? No, we did not, but we got one anyway. Co-starring the narcoticized buffoonery of Matthew Perry and Amanda Peet's monstrous eyebrows.

2. Hudson Hawk (1991): Overblown vanity project with Willis playing the title role as cat burglar recruited to steal some priceless artwork. I saw this at a drive-in and thought to myself, it's not as bad as they said it was, but it's still pretty bad.

1. Bonfire of the Vanities (1990): Willis is miscast as journalist Peter Fallow in director Brian DePalma's piss-poor adaptation of Tom Wolfe's novel. Even Tom Hanks sucks in this movie. A total fiasco.

I didn't think it was possible for Bruce Willis to have ANY top ten movies!

Thanks jmdobies for a nice list of films! After reviewing your pick, I will agree that Bonfire deserves to be at the bottom. Even if you made a Tom Hanks list, BOTV would be at the bottom of that list, I think. The funny thing is I really enjoyed Hundson Hawk! LOL! Thanks again! I'm now working on my top 20 best film!

Nice list and some awfully fun movies in there. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed "Die Hard 4"... Bruce still has it!
