GE Washer - Profile Top Load - WPRE6100G
This washer has a serious design flaw. If you think on the Hot cycle it fills the water from your hot water tap, think again. It dilutes the incoming hot water with cold to the "perfect" 105F. To me this is tepid, not hot.
I complained to GE people that the hot water is not hot enough, and they said that the PerfecTemp Target Wash Temperatures: Hot- 105° , Warm- 90° , Cold- 60°.
However, the owners manual says "Make sure house water heater is delivering water at 120°F–140°F (48°C–60°C)" .
Something does not add up. I should NOT have to heat the water only to get it...
review »Whirlpool Washer - Cabrio Top Load WTW6600SBT
I was so excited when I purchased this washing machine. After a few weeks things turned. From the start clothes came out very twisted and wrinkled, not to mention they came out cleaner with my old maytag. I also experienced coins falling thru the washer. When I called Whirlpool they basicly said 'Oh well, call a repairman'. This sure seems like a design flaw to me. I have a family of 6, so I DO CHECK POCKETS! Even so, things have been missed. It dosen't seem right to need a repairman to remove 15cents. F1 and load codes all the time. Now it is locked in a mode that won't spin...

Ok... this machine rocks!! I have 4 sons. 3 of them play contact football and get really dirty.
This machine gets everything super clean!!
I love all of the options for water temperature and load type.
It's very quiet too. Holds a ton of clothes and still gtes it all clean!
The spin function on it is awesome. When you get the clothes out they don't need very long in the dryer because they are almost dry. It does spin so fast that I end up ironing alot. I don't mind it though.
It's a great machine. I use it about everyday for at least 2 loads of laundry.
Highly recommend!
GE 3.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle King-Size Washer
I just purchased this GE washing machine online through HomeDepot.com. I was in diarer need of a new washing machine because mine was not draining on the regular cycle and would have to put it on another cycle to drain, then put it on 2 different cycles twice to spin the clothes good enough to get the water out...ugh...what a pain...but kept putting it off, until my husband said enough already lets go get ya a new washing machine. So I went shopping around to different places to see what all they had. Gosh some of these washers are unbelievable with all their gadgets they come with now (it's...

I suspected this machine design was defective when I did my first load. The sensor, when on rinse cycle and when washing kingsize cotton sheets, will only put a two or three inches of water in machine tub, meaning the sheets eventually will be worn out in washing, not from use. When washing bath mats, same thing. It has torn $80 worth of quality/expensive bath mats to shreds. I would NEVER recommend buying this machine, and just to save my clothes and other washable materials will probably sell or give it away and buy another.
Whirlpool Cabrio WTW6700TW1
When our washer finally kicked the bucket a little over a year ago the one thing that I told my husband our new washer had to be was super capacity. When the salesman showed us the Cabrio and I saw the 4.6 cu capacity my mouth was watering. Too bad I didn't know that I would soon have a serious case of drymouth. We didn't even have the washer 3 months when the drain pump went out. Luckily it was covered under warranty. There are serious issues with this machine. I just had to be without a washer again for 10 days while waiting for the repairman again. This was the second time in a...
