To the Point

On a whim when I went into PetSmart to get Hanna some Bil-Jac I passed by the beta fish. They are beautiful - especially the males. I've seen them in glass vases and decided to give one a better home than he had at PetSmart. Mr. Lucky gets Top Fin Betta Bits and loves them.

A Closer View

Maybe fish will eat any food but really Mr. Lucky watches for me to come over and give him his 3 to 4 pellets (depending on their size) twice a day. Note: the clerk at PetSmart told me to give him 3 once a day but when I got home I read the correct amount to give him. These are tiny pellets and I literally take out 3 or 4 and put them on the surface so I don't give him too many and overfeed him.

The pellets most of the time float. I've noticed that only recently has Lucky gone down to the bottom of the vase to look for food. He usually waits at the top. I drop one in and he looks for it and eats it. I drop another one and keep going. My friends just drop a pinch in but I like to keep it exact.

We are told that Top Fin Betta Bits will keep Mr. Lucky beautiful and energetic because of the nutrients and color enhancers. We are told that Top Fin is easily digested. I watch him eat pellet by pellet and he seems to enjoy them; he's happy and healthy.

Ingredients: Fish meal, wheat flour, soybean meal, krill meal, corn gluten meal, stabilized fish oil, squid meal, yeast, lecithin oil, choline chloride, calcium propianate, l-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (C), vitamin A acetate, D-activated animal sterol (D3), riboflavin supplement (B2), vitamin B12 supplement, niacin, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (K), folic acid, thiamine (B6), d-calcium pantothenate, biotin, dl-aplha-tocopherol (E), manganese sulfate, cobalt sulfate, ferrous sulfate, copper sulfate, ethylenedamine dihydroiodidem, ethoxyquin (anti-oxidant).

Price: $1.79 for 1.1 ounces which will last forever and perhaps would last the lifetime of 10 beta fish.

Beautiful colors on the fish! Bet Mr. Lucky does feel lucky now that he's getting fed more than once a day!
