Okay, here goes in no particular order....Forrest Gump, just because it was a great flick. (I feel like FG sometimes because I have been on the 'outside looking in' to several big events that have occurred in my life!) 2) Braveheart, The Year of Living Dangerously, and the Lethal Weapon series. Mel Gibson...great stories, great actor. (Incidentally, The Year of Living Dangerously was released circa 1983 with Sigourney Weaver and Linda Hunt, who plays a man in the film. If you haven't seen it, you should!) 3) The Breakfast Club...that was highschool! The nerd, the jock, the prep... 4) Scarface ...my leetle friend! 5) The Scent of a Woman....Al Pacino is great in this! I think it's the speech at the end that gets me! 6) Mr. Holland's Opus...a must see for all musicians and/or music teachers. Music really isn't about the notes on the page...it's what you do with them after...Richard Dreyfus is great! 7) Point Break...okay, not great acting, but Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reaves surfing and buff? What's not to like? 8) Steel Magnolias...chick-flick with a message. 9) Mystic Pizza...fun film, and if you haven't ever been to Mystic, there really is a Mystic Pizza, and the pizza is great! 10) Pretty Woman. What girl doesn't want to find her Prince Charming and be rescued?
