The dentist then recommended she try the Spinbrush. Since using this brush she has no problems with plaque and is getting excellant check-ups.

It works great. It can be plugged in so you don't have to buy batteries. The replacement brush-heads are easily found at Target, Walgreens, etc.
Sonicare Elite Electric Toothbrush
I have had my Sonicare toothbrush for about 7 years. It was recommended by my dentist. I love it so much. It really does work like it says. The battery like is remarkable as well. It will go at least a week without being charged. You can replace the heads whenever you need to as well. I usually get them at Target.
Colgate Spinbrush
I have had my Colgate SpinBrush for almost a year and have been very satisfied with it. I would definitely suggest this product to family and friends. It is not only easy to use, but changing the head or the batteries aren't very difficult to do.
On a scale from one to ten, I would give the Colgate SpinBrush a 9 1/2. Not a full ten only due to the fact that it can be a little pricey to replace the head when it needs replacing. Other than that, though, I am very satisfied with the brush overall.

My boyfriend bought this toothbrush for me two years ago. I was skeptical at first, but I love the sonicare elite. My hygenist always comments on how white my teeth are. Sonicare Elite 7300 Toothbrush with Sonic Technology
i have been using this electric toothbrush for at least 4 years now. every time i go for a cleaning my tech says "keep doing what you are doing". the only thing i do REGULARLY is brush for 2 minutes each morning. flossing is sporatic.

I originally received this as part of a product trial (lucky me!) and was skeptical that it would do anything in particular for my teeth. I bought the Oral B Vitality toothbrush for my son. He was not brushing well with his manual toothbrush and his teeth had become stained and not quite as white as they should be for a nine year old. My dentist is pleased with the condition of my gums, and how little plaque builds up on my teeth.
