I used to use this toothpaste all the time and I loved it. The peppermint taste is really great and it made my teeth feel pretty clean. However, I didn't realize til later that the ingredients are not much more natural than other toothpastes! I do like that this toothpaste contains a sugar alcohol which is actually good for your teeth and was recommended by my dentist! However, I did not like that this toothpaste contains fluoride. I like the fluoride free version of Tom's much better. This toothpaste did work well for me though and I think it's definitely better than Crest or Colgate. I like that the texture wasn't weird and the taste was pleasant. It's also affordable and is sold at most major stores! I also like that it does not contain other questionable ingredients (like Colgate Total does). This toothpaste is a great place to start if you're trying to make more natural choices.

I was given a free sample of this product by the company. I liked it fine - to me, it tasted about the same as regular toothpaste. It is not the shiny, white color we have come to expect, more of a light grey color. I figure this is a good thing, because that means there is less dye in the toothpaste. I felt that it cleaned my teeth equally as well. I think it also has a little bit of a different texture, but it didn't bother me. I got a sample of the product, I may suggest that you too start with a sample size, that way you do not throw away an entire product if you don't like it. If you are looking for a natural toothpaste, I think it is worth giving this one a try. It does have the regular screw-on cap. so no surprises there. This toothpaste does have fluoride, but it does not come with many of the things people have come to expect from toothpaste, like whitening. That is something else to keep in mind.

Loved this product. All natural, great taste, and its available in most drugstores. Will continue to buy this product. I like the fact that it is all natural, but I don't know about fluoride. It is a little pricey, but worth every penny. My husband who only likes one kind of toothpaste even tried it and said he liked it. It is not gritty at all like some other toothpaste I have tried. Leaves a fresh taste in your mouth, but not overbearing.

I'm trying to limit chemicals in my household and one of the first things was toothpaste. I love that Tom's doesn't use many of the harmful chemicals along with having the fluoride free option. It also tastes great :)

I didn't think an all natural toothpaste could make my teeth and mouth really clean and freshen my breath. Well, when I'm wrong, I don't have a problem admitting it, and I was wrong about this toothpaste. It really is Wicked Fresh and I'm now a firm believer in this product! Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh Toothpaste is full of natural ingredients that provide wonderful results without filling your mouth full of harsh chemicals that can actually end up damaging the enamel on your teeth. Why take that chance when it simply isn't necessary? This toothpaste cleans my teeth and mouth and makes my breath very fresh, and it does all of that safely and very effectively. My family is very health conscious. We always try to make conscious choices to support health in every way possible, including health care products. We have been using Tom's Toothpastes on and off for many years- way before they became a well known national product with partial ownership of a larger conglomerate. When Tom's of Maine came out with their new line of Wicked Fresh! Toothpaste, we bought one to try it. The Cool Peppermint flavor is very strong, but honestly it is not like the good old fashioned peppermint Tom's of Maine toothpaste that we had bought in years past. It seems like the quality has gone down. **WHAT IS TOM'S OF MAINE WICKED FRESH! COOL PEPPERMINT LIKE?** Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh! Cool Peppermint Toothpaste has a strong flavor provided by botanical oils and natural flavor oils, but not like the old version which tasted like TRUE peppermint. This one has licorice in it. The paste itself does not seem to be as true to the original toothpaste formula either-not as cleansing, more smooshy and less pasty. We are used to the real tasting TRUE peppermint flavored paste which used to work really nicely and last in the mouth for a while. This was a disappointment. Tom's of Maine used to have a fennel toothpaste that was better tasting that this is. The performance was awful. Our teeth felt like they had a film on them and not like it used to be with Tom's of Maine. Tom's of Maine used to be one of our favorite products, but this one is FAIL. For cleaner teeth, I have moved on to Eco-Dent tooth powder with added sensitivity ingredients (I added myself) and our teeth have been wonderfully clean ever since.

I just received a sample of **Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh! Toothpaste - Cool Peppermint **and not knowing what to expect, thought the worst since it was made of all natural ingredients.  I'm always game to try something new, and was pleasantly surprised by the subtle flavor!  I brushed and brushed waiting for the suds to form like traditional mass-market toothpaste that overwhelms and almost gags me, and the sud buildup didn't come.  I love it!  It left a a very cool and fresh taste in my mouth.  After brushing I can usually feel grit still on my teeth after scrubbing and scrubbing... but my teeth felt smooth and clean after just a 3 minute brush!  I think I may have found a new favorite!  I would defineately recommend this to my friends.  It would be really good for kids, if you can tear them away from the sparlkes and wacky flavors of other toothpaste. Tom's is going right on to my shopping list for my next trip to the store!  It's a lot more pricey than other toothpaste, but I think it's worth the slurge!****

The first time I tried Tom's Wicked Fresh, I wasn't so sure. I guess, because it uses natural ingredients, the peppermint flavor was extremely strong. I wasn't sure I liked that. But as my mother taught me, try try again and don't be wasteful. So I continued to use it. Now I barely notice that it is any different that regular toothpaste. One other thing you will notice is that the color is not a bright white like the standard brands. Just a visual observation really. I have grown to really like Tom's products. They do have a slightly different flavor because they are made with natural ingredients that you don't find in other products. HOwever, that is what I love about them. It is more natural and to me that is a good thing! As with most natural products, it is a little more expensive so watch for sales and coupons.

I know, it's trendy. It's cool. It's all natural. It's supposed to be better for you. But if toothpaste says it's "wicked fresh," I expect to have fresh breath for longer than half an hour. Or if it's supposed to be "cool peppermint" flavored - I want it to taste bright and minty. As much as I like Tom's of Maine, this toothpaste disappointed me. The flavor is somewhat reminiscent of those chalky little loose mints that you get at chain breakfast places as you walk out the door. The aftertaste is a bit like you've chewed a stale piece of gum and are trying to get the last bit of flavor out of it. My mouth doesn't feel much fresher after a few minutes - in fact, I almost want to brush again with another toothpaste to get that minty clean taste in my mouth. Perhaps in the long run, this toothpaste would be better for me and my dental health, but I probably won't buy it again because I just don't like the taste.

When a lot of people bring up organic/all natural, they think of good things. Well this is not the case for Tom's toothpaste. I tried the cool peppermint and let me tell you I was very disappointed. I mean not only is this product pricey but it doesn't do the job in terms of whitening your teeth. Every time I use this toothpaste I question the next morning whether or not the toothpaste is doing its job. It's a good thing that TOMS is all natual but seriously for an overpriced product that doesn't do much but maybe freshen your mouth, I'll pass. The product makes it seem like it's the real deal in a way that it will definitely fight all your tooth problems and since it is all natural, the product seems it's a must buy. Just because the product doesn't have flouride doesn't mean anything. TOMS is a good toothpaste for those wealthy kids from SOHO but its not for me. I do not recommend this product to anyone unless they are willing to spend an extra few on a wasted product.
