My husband was so proud of himself when he came home with Tom's of Maine Natural Clean & Gentle Care SLS Free Anticavity plus dry mouth soother. He did really well!

This 5.2 ounce tube costs around $4.00 and can be found at www.drugstore.com as well as your local health food store and perhaps grocery store. This particular toothpaste is new. Tom's listened! Many of us have been crying that their products contain sodium lauryl sulfate. Right on the website under frequently asked questions (www.tomsofmaine.com) it is asked "is sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) safe for use?"

"We know of two concerns regarding this ingredient." Feel free to look around the website but many of have questioned this ingredient for a long time.

Not only did Tom do away with SLS but he made absolutely delicious toothpaste - as in try not to eat it. The toothpaste smells and tastes like apricots.

Tom's Natural Clean & Gentle Care SLS-Free Anticavity plus Dry Mouth Soother Fluoride Toothpaste comes in apricot and lemon-lime flavor. A natural ingredient called glycyrrhizin, which comes from purified licorice root is used to make this foamy toothpaste without SLS.

I have an autoimmune disorder called Sjogren's Syndrome. Among other symptoms it causes dry mouth. Tom has added xylitol which comes from birth trees or corn which helps dry mouth. In fact you might see it added to gum in the health food store.

My teeth feel clean; my mouth feels fresh; I got a good report from the hygienist the other day - I'm happy with Tom's of Maine new SLS free Toothpaste.
