My daughter has an extreme aversion to anything that even remotely smells or tastes like mint. She is five years old and it has been so difficult getting her to willingly bush her teeth on a regular basis. I was so happy when we finally found a toothpaste that she will use without crying about brushing. We had tried nearly every children's toothpaste on the market, available in our area, and would end up throwing most of them away. It was such a huge waste of money! When I read the label on Tom's I decided it was worth the extra cost to give it a shot. I am so glad we did! She likes the strawberry flavor and I like that it is natural ingredients. Tom's is well worth the little extra that it may cost! This will be her only brand of toothpaste from now on!

I bought the Tom's of Main Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste for Children for my son and he did not like it. I thought the strawberry flavor would for sure be a hit and could be his step from infants toothpast to big kid toothpaste. He doesn't like it and it is a huge fight to get him to use it. I'm really not sure why he does not like it. I tried it to see what it was like and the flavor in my opinion was great. We have decided to just hold off for a little while and let him continue to use the infant toothpast and hope that he will soon decide that his new big kid toothpast is cool and tastes yummy! I would recommend this toothpaste to other parents even though my son does not like it just because I think he's picky and a little weird and hates any kind of change. It is a little more expensive than other toothpastes, but it is quality stuff and has much better ingredients that crest or colgate...there are frequently coupons for it also.

Tom's of Maine is one of my very favorite products for my children and myself. The thing I love most about it is that it is Made in America, which is the main reason I buy it. I like knowing that our dental care is made here in america and not in China which is kind of scary. It also has a very refreshing taste and flavor. It is cleaner than other leading brands of toothpaste and doesn't leave a flim like some others do. It has many different flavors from peppermint to cinnamon to strawberry!!! My 6 year old loves it it is one of her favorite kinds of toothpaste. I would say that it is a little expensive, but to me it's worth it because it is made in America with all natural ingredients. That is very important to me as you can't be too careful with your childrens health. The company also helps to doante money back to communties which is another reason I buy this, it's important to buy things that support local communities.

I first tried this toothpaste because I wanted a sugar-free toothpaste. This toothpaste is strawberry-flavored, though the flavor is not terribly strong. Some complain that it is disgusting, but I find it palatable enough. It lathers and cleans well. My primary complaint is that, because the flavor is dull, I never get a fresh, clean mouth feeling after I brush. More mainstream brands are much better about maing their non-minty flavors still leave that minty-fresh feeling in your mouth. Toothpaste in general makes my mouth really dry and gross, so I do miss those first few minutes of fresh that I get with other brands of toothpaste. With this toothpaste, I have to satisfy myself that I rationally know that I have cleaned my mouth, but I still end up worrying about bad breath. I do, however, prefer the strawberry to Tom's spearmint, as I find the spearmint overwhelming, even when I use a tiny, tiny amount. PerhapsTom's should combine these two falvors in something like a 10:1 ratio.

Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste for kids is a great product!  I just bought this toothpaste for the first time last month and my kids love it!  They really like the fruit flavor and I really like the fact that it is all-natural and doesn't have animal ingredients.  It seems to clean their teeth really well although I will have a better sense of how well it cleans after my children have used it for a longer period of time.  This company has a great selection of natural products and I believe that this company gives back to the community.  The only negative feedback that I have is the price.  This toothpaste is significantly more expensive than other childrens toothpastes however I believe that the higher price is worth it.  Also this product often is on sale for a price that is extremely competitive with other brands.  I plan to continue to purchase this toothpaste for my children and would recommend it to other moms!

I purchased Tom's of Maine Children's Toothpaste after my wife and I had been using the original Tom's of Maine toothpaste and because I could not get my children to brush with it. So when I got the kids this toothpaste instead - they absolutely fell in love with it. We had switched to an all natural toothpaste because if the benefits of using one and the long lasting clean mouth feeling that we could actually not get with any other toothpaste - and we have tried EVERY single kind there is out there; but the kids kept saying how minty and nasty it tasted. So we still allowed them to brush with the other falvorful toothpaste brands out there - that is until we came across this one. I told my wife we just HAD to buy it. The only thing is the tube is metal and can eventually become cut and have some of the paste splew out and it being metal may even cut the childrens' fingers - however to prevent that we just squirt the paste on the brush for themeselves. We just like the fact knowing that our children are brushing their teeth with an all natural and healthy but yet appealing toothpaste. We have not yet anything bad to say about this product and recommend it to all kids out there.

I never heard of Tom's of Maine toothpaste for children until my dentist recommend it for my daughter.   Once she moved from using oral B stages (little bear) to colgate for kids she began getting horrible sores in her mouth.  I had no idea what they were so i had to take her to the dentist because they were so painful that she did not want to brush her teeth.  The dentist explained to me that they were a type of canker sore that was caused by an ingredient in the toothpaste that she was using and suggested Toms of Maine.  I was a little hesitant at first because the price and having no knowledge of the brand was unsure how my daughter would react to the flavor.  She LOVES it and after a week of using it she had no more canker sores and enjoys brushing her teeth again.  The only downfall to using it is I don't think that tube is child friendly and sometimes not parent friendly.  The material that the tube is made of (some sort of metal) makes it difficult to squeeze once it starts getting to the bottom.  It also if kind of messy the toothpaste gets all over the lid and it is quit sticky.   If they could re design the tube this toothpaste would be perfect.!!

               If you have grown up using regular old crest or colgate toothpaste, **Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste for Children ** might take some getting used to.    But let me just say that this is one of the best toothpastes out there!    It's natural ingredients are less intense than other name brands, and it's safer and healthier for your mouth.    If your child has sensitive teeth and you are picky about how your toothpaste works, I feel confident that you will be satisfied with the level of performance this toothpaste gives.    My kids just switched from a Disney character toothpaste, and have no complaints!                                      So if you're looking to "go green" in your home with more than just your trash or energy efficieny, **Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste for Children** is strong enough for the job.    That's my opinion, anyway.

I have been buying Tom's of Maine Natural Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste for Children for my kids for about a year.  I like that it is all natural.  They also like the taste and smell of the starwberries.  I do not like the metal tube it is hard to get all the toothpaste out.  I like the top it is easy to open that even they can open it themselves.  I like that the company gives back  to the community.  I am having a hard time finding in my new location for a good price.  It does tend to be more expensive then usually toothpaste, but you pay for what you get.  My daughters both like the taste and do not fight me on brushing there teeth.  Also they like to be independent and having toothpaste they can do themselves helps out a lot.  I would recommend this to anyone with children who are picky about taste and smell.  My daughters love and look forward to brushing there teeth in the evening.
