I bought this last christmas for my Dad and the money that I have saved has more than paid for this item.
I have a trailer about 130 miles from home. I went the same way that my family had gone for over 30 years. I had bought a new trailer and put the GPS in the truck since I wasn't sure how to get from the dealer to my campgound. Well, it told me to turn on a different road when I got to a point that I had known. The TomTom One has helped me get around the city I live in in a huge way. I am a very "directionaly challanged" person and have big problems getting around. I used to have a Garmin, but I enjoy this piece of equipment more. It does take a bit more time to plug in where you are going, and the general search features (if you have a type of destination, but not a specific one in mind) are a little harder to use than the Garmin, but there seem to be a lot more deatures and various things you can do with the TomTom One.
