tom tom where are you

The tom tom one is not a bad GPS overall but when you need it most that is when it will fail. There has been numerous times that we have entered an address and when it calculates the route it will say routing error. I bought this last christmas for my Dad and the money that I have saved has more than paid for this item.

I have a trailer about 130 miles from home. I went the same way that my family had gone for over 30 years. I had bought a new trailer and put the GPS in the truck since I wasn't sure how to get from the dealer to my campgound. Well, it told me to turn on a different road when I got to a point that I had known. The TomTom One has helped me get around the city I live in in a huge way. I am a very "directionaly challanged" person and have big problems getting around. I used to have a Garmin, but I enjoy this piece of equipment more. It does take a bit more time to plug in where you are going, and the general search features (if you have a type of destination, but not a specific one in mind) are a little harder to use than the Garmin, but there seem to be a lot more deatures and various things you can do with the TomTom One. It is much more compact and sleek and a lot easier to get in and out of...
