TomTom - One GPS Navigation System Review

I was given my Tom Tom One GPS over a year ago and I use it ALL THE TIME! This unit has saved me time and miles spent on the road. When I first opened it, I thought, Oh no, how am I ever going to use this thing? I cannot read a map to save my life and have NO sense of direction! I actually wanted to return it. This was not a gift I had asked for!

Right from the start it was very easy to use. You don't need to know how to read a map, you don't need to know what direction you are going (nort or east), you jsut need to listen to the GPS person tell you what to do!

I have used it on short trips that are just a few miles away to long trips across the country and I have gotten great directions every trip. I love changing the voices to make the trips more fun, right now I have the british woman--I love her accent and it always makes me smile. My father chose the same voice for his GPS--like father like daughter.

I used to print out maps by google and yahoo and bring them with me everywhere. I get lost every where I go. To the doctor's to the mall, anywhere! Not only was that a waste of paper, but it was a waste of time. Now whenever I get lost, I click "home" and it gets me there. I never have to worry about getting lost. I can be as adventurous as I want and not worry that I won't be able to find my way back home.  

This one is alo cheaper then other ones, adn I think it is also more user friendly. My friend has a garmon, and I could not figure out how to use it at all!
