Tom Tom One - The best-selling for a reason

Pros

I've never experienced any cons, talks to you, never lose your way again, automatically corrects for off course, great navigation device

Cons

had to update some things, Suction cup mount doesn't hold very well

I finally talked my wife into getting a GPS unit. It had to be reliable, affordable and sync with both Mac and PC. The Tom Tom One fit perfectlly.

At around $149, it's one of the cheapest GPS units available, which also makes it the best selling. It's great for folks who really don't need all the fancy bells and whistles of the more expensive models. The size is great too, becaise it fit perfectly into a small digital camera case I had already.

There are a number of free add-ons you can download via the app you install to your computer. I am a big Star Wars nut, so I have Darth Vader, C-3PO and Yoda. I also have a Milenium Falcon and X-Wing icons to represent my car on the screen.

My wife doesn't go anywhere, more than 50 miles from home, without it!
