Now when we travel we can never get lost. My husband has a habit of thinking he knows where he is going and then gets lost. Would he ever stop for directions no. Tom Tom has been great since we bought it for Christmas we have used it many times, and guess what we have never gotten lost. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is directionaly challanged. I have used this product just going to a business meeting and I was not worried about getting lost. My children have now started using it in their cars.
TOM TOM 130 is a good GPS for starters who can find their way with some common sense. Dumb people might wanna go for fancy features like speaking street names and etc etc high cost models. Only drawback is that updates are not free and sometimes it does get signals, promptly after turning it on. But for the price, its worth spending.
The TomTom ONE 130 Global Positioning Satellite is a lifesaver. Driving back and forth from Michigan to Tennessee and back again, cross country, I needed a more reliable "right hand man" so to speak, and I found that this lightweight, PC friendly model had both visual and auditorial command control, but also emergency response, much like OnStar. If you get in a car accident, have a flat tire or other emergency situation, you can go into the Help Me! function that allows you to call for help, find any local repair shop, hospital or alternative transportation option.
It was priced right, under $150.00...
I truly love my tom tom gps. You can find points of interests where gas stations, restaurants and other places are, you can also set the preference to allow the street names to be read aloud, and the screen is pretty easy to view. If under a small bridge you can lose your gps signal and the clips that come with the gps are garbage because there's no good way to attach them. It is however easy to get to use to using and I do like that it has the mph you are going with current speed limits, and the time you leave and will arrive remains on the screen, you also have the option to choice from different...

But then my firend turned me on to my tomtom and i haven't been the same since. I can go anywhere i want to. It is so easy to use and my wife loves it and i have to go in her car to find it when i need it cause she thinks it is hers. The tomtom is straight up and forward about getting you there in the shorest time possible. I love being able to change the car symbols to whatever i am driving or riding in and the voices crack me up. I mean George W telling you directions- what can you say about...

I didn't want to have to print out directions every week and they are hard to read while driving. Tom Tom tells me where to go, turn by turn and I hardly every get lost. If I miss a turn, Tom Tom redirects me to get me back on track. I love it. When programming my destination, I can check the map and check which road I will be going on. If I don't wish to go on a particular road, I can recalculate the route. There are some many helpful features...
read full review »I love this GPS device. I believe its one of the best, gps devices out there. I love the navigation maps and design. Some of the feature are excellent and the screen is clear. There are many types of gps devices so it is up to the buyer which one he likes the most. The only bad thing about these devices are that they make you a target for theifs. SO you will have to hide it when you are parked. I love the color screen. I iwish I had a built in device since they are cooler but if you have to have an add on then this isn't bad. I love that you can talk to the gps and have it guide you. so this means...
