We have had the Tom Tom One model for a few years now and it still works for us! It has really helped us for going out of state, day trips or even just for finding an address we just didn't know where a place was! I also like that if you do miss your turn it redirects you in no time! It is a great investment and I recommend it! Processing Speed It loads very quickly and redirects you in no time if needed! Map Quality & Accuracy I have found this to be very accurate with only a handful inaccuracies along the years we have had it. Ease of Use It takes a little getting used to but if you follow the directions you will get the hang of it in no time!

I got this as a birthday present and I don't mean to be unthanful but this GPS System has lost me a couple of times I end up looking up the directions on my iPhone. I have put in an address and it finds the location just fine and then I hit the road and after a little while it looses the satellite connection or something and it freezes so I have no Idea what exit I need to take or what way to go. I have had to pull over and put in the address into my iphone. I called there customer service and they asked me if I had the latest software installed and if yes to go outside where there are no trees or tall buildings and reset the device and that should fix the problem. I did that and the problem still continues. its good when you don't have a destination set on it. then it follows you just fine and it tells you where gas stations, food places, hotels, and stuff like that are at on the map.

I'm thrilled with my device overall and it's been a God-send on so many of the trips I take for work. My only complaint is that it sometimes takes forever for the GPS signal to pick up after the device has been in a garage or turned off for a long time.

The tom tom one is not a bad GPS overall but when you need it most that is when it will fail. There has been numerous times that we have entered an address and when it calculates the route it will say routing error. Or if you have a destination in and you are coming upon an important area for an intersection or ramp it will just go blank, leaves you hanging for about 5-10 mins because it has to reboot itself. That is really annoying when it happens. I travel all over the US and use it daily it will also take you to a different place at times especially when it is a newer subdivision or industrial park. So the biggest thing is yes it is handy but do use common sense with it or you can get lost. I have heard from others that are using garmins that they are better and do not have this problem.

Love my Tom Tom One. I have had my Tom Tom for over a month and used it at least every other day and it hasn't steered me wrong, not once. I like the way I can save my favorite addresses and it keeps the ones in memory just in case I need them in the future. I haven't had to use it out of the state of VA but I'm sure it would probably be just as reliable in any other state. I like the way I can download points of interest that I'm interested in.

I love tom tom one i gives precise directions and it can also tell you where point of interests are  on the  rout that you are going. Also you can download different voices to give you directions my favorite is the Yoda one.No longer will my husband get lost by the directions i give him. My only  complaint about this product is that not all the correct street names are on there.

Tom Tom One Third Edition has been an awesome tool for my on the road travel.  I have used this unit on what I will call many of short trips (within thirty  or so miles), and quite a few longer road trips. Thanks to Tom Tom One, I have made it to several occasions without falter, not to mention on time.  The unit is what I think is perfect size nad its ease of use was amazing.  It was so easy that my girl friend who is very very technicaly challenged navigated her way through the screens with ease ( That comment speaks wonders for this piece of equpment ).  The screen set up allows for day and night visualization.The audible commands are given with your choice of character (as well as other downloadable voices off the web site) After removing it from the box and hooking it up to my pc for charging and a semi quick update, the unit was used for a trip out into a very rural area at night where there are no street lights and seeing the up coming street signs were almost an impossible task was a breeze with the Tom Tom giving me audible alerts of up coming and immediate turn now directives.  A recent business trip had me going out of state and once again caled upon the Tom Tom to give me accurate information right to the drive way of the company I was visiting.  The points of interest feature was a big help in deciding where to get a quick lunch coinciding with the time of arrival feature giving me 15 minutes of time before my scheduled appointment time.

I bought this last christmas for my Dad and the money that I have saved has more than paid for this item. I have a trailer about 130 miles from home.  I went the same way that my family had gone for over 30 years.  I had bought a new trailer and put the GPS in the truck since I wasn't sure how to get from the dealer to my campgound.  Well, it told me to turn on a different road when I got to a point that I had known. I didn't take it that day since I was hauling a bit afraid of getting myself some place that I would not be able to haul. When I went back up the next week I decided to try it out.  Imagine my surprise when I found out that the ride would be about 3o miles less and about 45 minutes!  Since I go up there on a weekly basis imagine how much time and money that I have saved. I reccomend it to anyone .  There are so many short cuts out there that we don't know and with the price of gas as it is you will save!  reads you the direction so you don't have to look at it.

The TomTom one 3rd Edition is a great GPS for the money.  For the most part is it very accurate.  I have noticed that the maps don't include some points of interest that I feel it should.  I went golfing in Medora, ND at Bully Pulpit and the course wasn't on the points of interest.  When I went to Wisconsin the Kalahari Resort wasn't on there.  I think that TomTom needs to update thier maps more often and make sure that major points of interest are on the maps.  The package for the TomTom one 3rd edition said I was able to get an antenna so I could get road reports and I noticed that there is a plugin for it on the device.  I can't seem to find an antenna for this device anywhere.  I even contacted TomTom about this and they didn't know of one.  The one major negative I have found with this device is that the battery life is terrible.  If you don't have the device plugged in you are lucky to get 15-20 min. out of the battery.
