TomTom - Go 300 GPS Device —
I bought the tomtom because I was moving to a new, much larger, city, and I get lost very easily (no sense of direction). It has saved me so much stress! I bought it on ebay and it was delivered just before I moved. I used it to drive right to my new house and to find my way to my new job. My only complaints thus far are two: (1) you can only get a route from your present location. For example, if you want to give someone directions, they need to be the same place you are, or go to expedia or mapquest for directions. If I'm at work, I can't ask it how to get to the library from my house. (2) There have been a couple of addresses that the tomtom says doesn't exist. I use the closest approximation and it still gets me there, but then I have to find the correct number. To be fair, though, I haven't had a chance to update the maps using the web yet. It's possible that this problem will go away then. In general, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.
