This is an honest and exciting outlook on experiencing new outlooks and perceptions of being alive.  The life of Ken Kasey after writing "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and his involvement in life with the Merry Pranksters.  Perfectly descriptive and clear on a subject that tends to have muddled, hard-to-comprehend explanations and outlandish theories associated with it.  An inside and outside look on reasons for and direct experiences with opening new doors in the mind.  Surprisingly rational for a book whose title suggests hippy-dippy subject matter and dragging rants that only out-there, drug users could understand.  A recommended read for those who enjoy an inside look on alternative lifestyles or are looking for a read that may change the way you think about your life without therapy style bullsh*t or actual lifestyle changes involved.
