The Toledo Zoo is a great place to go, if you are a member. If you are not a member, it will cost you about the same price as a membership to visit this zoo. After parking and admission charges, a family of 4 will spend around $35 just to get into the zoo. You might as well become a member and visit the zoo often.

The animals are great and the exhibits are interesting. The food is way over priced so we always pack a lunch because they allow you to bring in coolers. You will need food since this is a very large zoo and takes all day if you want to see all the exhibits. There is also a nice play ground to stop at in the middle of the zoo so you can have a rest and the kids can play.
