Baby Einstein Takealong Tunes
The Baby Einstein Takealong Tunes is one of my toddler's favorite toys. Prior to her first birthday I did a lot of research on toys for toddlers looking at safety, quality, durability, educational value, and toddler appeal. Several websites had good reviews of this product for all of my key criteria and many said that toddlers love it, which obviously isn't always the same as parents loving it. Additionally, I really liked that it is small enough to carry around easily and convenient to take in the car or on trips.
I gave the Takealong Tunes to my daughter for her first birthday, and she did...

The Fisher Price Animal Sounds Barn is a really fun toy for a wide range of ages. My babies have had a great time pushing the buttons that make sounds while my older kids really like playing pretend with the barn and animals. It comes with several animals and a farmer. Each animal has its own spot in the barn including the farmer who has his own bed.
The Fisher Price Animal Sounds Barn folds up for a storage which is really nice. Some of the sounds include a cow mooing, a pig oinking, a horse neighing, a sheep baaing, the farmer snoring in his bed, and a blacksmith table with a pounding...

We got the ball popper when my 6 years old was 1 and a half. Now my youngers is 2 and he plays with it. It has been take apart, Foreign object have been stuffed in it, but both of my kids keep coming back to play with it.
What they like about it is that it's musical, dynamic, easy to start and has brightly colored balls. The balls are light and soft so there's no risk of injury if your kids get rambunctious and swat at them or toss them around.
As a parent, I like that it has a separate master on/off switch. I wish that it had a lower volume, but the music is not that annoying high...

The Exersaucer Mega has been one of the best baby toys have have bought. My baby has been entertained by this toy from about 4 months and is still enjoying. He can sit in his exersaucer and play with all of the toys surrounding him. It has farm animals and he loves to grab and of course put them in his mouth. There is also a tray that I can set his sippy cup and a few little treats for him. I love how the seat turns around so he can easily go from one toy to another. When he gets bored with a toy, he is able to get to another to entertain him. It also bounces which he just loves! ...

I couldn't figure out why we needed an exersaucer and a jumper ... until I met this toy! My son had so much fun in this jumper that I wish I had a video to show everyone. I thought he was going to try to jump to the moon.
Basically, the exersaucer was a lot of fun, but this toy picked up where the exersaucer left off and provided a safe, contained, and thoroughly entertaining place to play when the exersaucer was too small and too boring. My son agreed to happily play in his jumperoo even after he learned to crawl and cruise. Only after he was walking well and quickly did he decide it...

The VTech laptop was given to our son as a gift but we probably wouldn't have chosen this particular laptop for our child. The VTech laptop is very colorful and produces a lot of sounds. It has large buttons to push and each button has a corresponding sound. There's also a screen that lights up and also makes sounds and music. There is also a "mouse" that actually moves.
The VTech laptop says it's for agest 6-36 months, although I think once a baby is over 1 years old, this toy probably becomes really boring. It's fun in the beginning as the different sounds and lights may be entertaining but then...

Baby Einstein Cd's and DVD's are something that I consider to be an educational toy. The dvd's show colors, movement, shapes, and keeps my young daughter entertained with something educational, not television shows or regular movies. We have played the cd's every night since she was born and they have helped her fall asleep to something educational and relaxing. I love that she is hearing classics instead of Barney or another junk filled cd. It is much better than having a toy that she has to have just to go to sleep. This saves time since there is no worrying about forgetting a toy if we travel...

I bought this toy for my friend's year old baby girl. She is not walking yet but a very active crawler. She is a very happy baby to start with but when she saw this toy she busted out in a roaring, loud laughter which kept up for a hour. I am not exaggerating. The adults got a kick out of just watching her. The balls really kept her entertained and at first she do dnot know how to put the balls where they needed to go but it only took a few rounds of us playing with her and she got the hang of it. She loved this toy.
One thing to note, there is no adjustable volume so for those of you who do not...

I bought this toy for my daughter when they first came out because I thought it looked really fun. My daughter is now four years old and plays with it more than she ever did when she was a baby. This is probably only because it has been handed down to her baby brother and she wants a claim on it. I bought it for her when she was 9 months old, which is about the age range suggested for this toy.
She seemed interested in it rarely, and even then it was more to try to eat the little fish on top of it than to drop the balls down in it.
However, it is one of the toughest toys I have ever seen. ...
