Toastmaster Popcorn Popper - TPC3  —

I have always loved to airpop my popcorn, so when my favorite popper broke, I ran out to get a new one and thought the Toastmaster version was a great solution.  It does pop up your popcorn light and fluffy, but it spits out unpopped kernels and is very slow to pop a full serving of kernels.  I followed directions exactly and filled the popper with the right amount of kernels and no matter what I did, it would pop some of the kernels and then spit out unpopped kernels.  The popcorn it did pop came out tasting great, light and fluffy.  However it was a huge hassle to dig out the unpopped kernels in the bowl to pour them back into the popper.  There is no hinge on the popper to drop kernels in so you have to turn it off to add more which makes popping the corn a long chore.  The popper sells for only about $20, but it still doesn't work as great as my last popper.  When you finally do get a whole batch of kernels popped, the popcorn tastes great and is light and fluffy.  All you have to do is season it to your liking.  The bonus of air popped popcorn is it is healthier and cheaper than microwave varieties, but in this case it costs you a lot of time to pop it.
