Finally I recieved a popcorn maker as a gift this past Christmas. I have wanted one for so long now. I love mine and it is now a staple in my kitchen, no more microwave popcorn for us in this house. With my Toastmaster Hot Air Popcorn Popper I can give my family a snack in no time that is hot, fresh, light and fluffy, best of all I can buy organic kernels!! I havent noticed very many leftover unpopped popcorn kernels, so I dont feel like I am wasting. It is perfect for movie night and making each of us our own personalized bowl with whichever topping sprinkled on we like. It warms up and begins popping within minutes. It is very easy to clean and wipe down, and fits perfectly under the cabinet.

I actually ordered my Toastmaster Hot Air Popcorn Popper from a list of products for free gifts from Homescan (now National Consumer Panel). The first one I ordered was broken when I received it, so I returned it - that was a real pain because I had ordered it just in time for my oldest daughter's birthday, and of course the replacement didn't get there in time. We needed to find a way to pop popcorn without adding anything to it - my children have multiple sensitivities and the kind that comes in bags that you put in the microwave didn't work well at all for them. What I like about the Toastmaster Hot Air Popcorn Popper: - It is very simple to use - simply pour popcorn (we use Orville Reddenbacher's) into the center up to the line. Place the cover on top and plug it in. Unplug it when the kernals have been popped. - It helps to ensure that you have a large bowl - although the lid does direct the popped corn downward, it can get a little wild. - Cleanup is easy - just wipe it out and store for next time. What I don't like about the Toastmaster Hot Air Popcorn Popper: - If you forget to have the bowl ready before you plug it in, you might have quite an exciting popcorn adventure. - If you forget to place the lid on top, you can pop hot popcorn all over the room (I haven't done this but I know someone who has) - I think the lid could be re-designed to direct the popped corn into a bowl a little better. - It's kind of large and hard to find a place to store it. **My Viewpoint:** I was relieved to find this hot air popcorn popper. It is easy to use, pops the popcorn quickly, and is easy to clean up. I've sent this to school several times when my child's class is having popcorn so that she can join in too and the kids love this thing! I especially like that we can make popcorn without the microwave bags and things added to it that bother my kids. The main suggestion I would have for improvement would be to change the design of the top so that it directs the popped corn a little better into a bowl or to design a special bowl that sort of wraps around the machine.

I got this air popcorn maker because my husband was bugging about getting one and this was the cheapest I was able to find at the time. I was actually surprised at how good it works. I like how quick the popcorn is popped.It is all right I like how it works and so far I have had no problems with it. I have used it a couple of times not every day but so far it hasn't messed up. If I could change anything with it though, it would be making the cleaning process easier. I wish there were a way to somehow take it apart easily to clean up without any problems.Another complaint I would have about this product is that it is a little messy. It pops the popcorn with such force that it is popped out of direction and lands at other places other than the bowl I place in front of it.

My husband prefers air popped popcorn, while I prefer the stuff in the bag with all the butter and salt on it.  He says he prefers the taste and wants his popcorn to be healthier.  Well, we found this Toastmaster Hot Air Popcorn Popper in a Goodwill and decided to give it a try.  I am glad we picked it up, because it works great!  It is very durable (it has lasted going through the Goodwill process and the multiple times we have used it).  Also, it is nice how he can just pop a little bit at a time, because usually I do not want any.  However, when I do want some, we can easily make more.  It pops very quickly, too.  I am usually still waiting for my bag popcorn to pop when he is finished and eating his air popped popcorn.  It does make a little bit of a mess, if you are not careful.  It doesn't always fall directly in the bowl, unless you direct it into the bowl yourself.  I recommend the Toastmaster Air Popper.

There are a lot of people who cannot eat salt and it is literally impossible to find popcorn that has no salt so having a hot air popper you can pop popcorn yourself without anything or with just unsalted butter if you perfer or you can make it however you like. The nice thing is you can make it the way you like it. It is nice to know that people who love popcorn but not all that salt can enjoy salt free popcorn with this hot air popper. I really enjoy making popcorn when I'm settling down to watch a movie and not having to worry about what's in the popcorn. I know what's in it since I popped it fresh from the bag.

I bought the Toastmaster Popcorn popper for my kids and when we opened the box we were very excited. We followed every step of the directions and then the popcorn popped. However instead of it falling in the bowl we placed under the spout it flew all over the counter and the floor. Some of the kernels didn't pop all the way either. It's also very loud while in operation. Overall, we still had a fun time because we were all together and it was funny watching each of us trying to catch the flying popcorn.
