This toaster has four settings:  Bagels, defrost, preheat and cancel.    We really enjoy this toaster since we not only eat toast but also eat a lot of bagels.  Having two appliances in one is much more convenient.  This toaster has a wide range of 1 to 9 for the level of darkness of whatever your toasting, although I can't imagine eating anything that's been toasted on a setting higher than 4.  We have been very happy with this toaster, although we have noticed that after about two consecutive toastings, you will have to reduce your darkness level.  It seems it just wants to keep...

General Electric 50-60CPS Bridge Port Conn

I like the toasters because you don't burn your fingers or hands putting the bread in them or taking the bread out like you do in an regular old oven. I also like them because they won't burn on you. They aren't to light or to dark. You can set it on whatever you want. How dark you want it or how light you want your toast, walk off and leave it and when it is done it pops out. I like this kind in general the General Electric Brand because it gets a lot hotter than other brands and is a lot faster. And has a setting that is lighter and a setting that is darker than the other toasters have. It is...

Wal-Mart Brand 2 slice toaster Model #TS-50

This toaster is a true you get what you pay for item.  The good qualities, it does toast and the white panels match my decor.  On the down side, you can not pop the toast up when you need to, you have to unplug it.  You get only 3/4 of the bread toasted, it does not have a deep enough slot to drop the toast in all the way.  It is great for a supplement toaster, but do not purchase it for long term use, or as a gift (unless, it's for your college student).

I received my TEM500 Egg and Muffin Two-Slice Toaster and Egg Poacher as a gift from my mother-in-law.  My husband and I have loved it.  I love toasted bagels and my husband loves eggs so this has been a great gift for both of us.  Plus, it's pretty.  Most toasters are just toasters.  This one actually looks attractive in my kitchen.  The other great thing about the toaster is that it's fast and easy.  Who wants to have to poach an egg the normal way, especially on a busy morning? Plus, I like toasted bagels, not microwaved bagels.  I used to spend money at drive-thru's for breakfast.  Now...

Hamilton Beach Toaster - Black Toastation Toaster Oven

Hamilton Beach Toaster - Black Toastation Toaster Oven
busy mom

NOV

2009

After having gone through many toasters through my 38 years of marriage, I decided after seeing the commercial for the Toaststation to purchase one and see if I liked this one any better.  I find that I really do like it, and have used it almost daily for the last four or so years.  It is a very practical product, because many of us have the problem of limited space in our kitchens, and at the same time we want to have a toaster oven.  This fills the needs of both a toaster and a toaster oven and it still can fit into a space smaller than my last four=slice toaster.  I have found that it does...

Black-and-Decker Toast-It-All

The Black-and-Decker Toast-It-All Toaster is great. It has space for 4 slices which is great when cooking for a family. I love the extra-wide slots which are great for bagels. It has a control so you can choose how dark or light you want it toasted. It definitely makes life a little easier for me. No more waiting around for a 2 slice toaster so you can make more toast, not to mention the toast getting cold while you're waiting. I have had my Black-and-Decker Toast-It-All for years and it is the only toaster I will ever use or need. There is a convenient crumb catcher on the bottom which is easy...

Visiting my parents for a week, I was able to put the Oster 6331 2-Slice Toaster through quite the challenge.  My children like their peanut butter and jelly sandwiches toasted (as do their grandfather). They also enjoy bagels, pop tarts and toaster strudels making it absolutely necessary to use the toaster during this  week at home with them and with grandparents wanting to spoil them.

The Oster 6331 2-Slice Toaster is approximately $35.00 and is a two slice toaster that also accomodates bagels, toast, frozen items and in our case I even toasted the whole grain wheat sandwich buns.  The...

KitchenAid Bagel toaster

KitchenAid Bagel toaster

I really like how i can cook or warm up many different things. I think it works great for bagels, frozen waffels, & toast of all sizes. Im not so satisfied with the limitation of only two peices at a time I would sure like it to do many more. It does have a very nice tray that catching all the crubs so clean up is no hassle just rince the tray. I also like how it has a very long cord so im not limited to putting it right in front of an outlet. It also comes in a variety of colors & i really like how much the outsides stays clean or cleans up very easy with little effort. It would be nice if it...

KitchenAid Two-Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster Model KTT340WH

KitchenAid Two-Slice Extra Wide Slot Toaster Model KTT340WH
a sucker for a great slice of toast, loving this product, willing to pay for quality

NOV

2009

I won't lie to you -- I am a sucker for a great piece of toast, a personality trait which has become more pronounced since I retired and have been eating more breakfasts and lunches at home.  For more than eight years -- through good times and bad -- my dear old Krups Sensotoast Compact Model 288P has been at my side, faithfully browning my bread until recently when I began to have trouble getting the bread rack to stay down.  Occasional flashes were another ominous sign that trouble was brewing.  Then I remembered those old Home Depot gift cards that I had accumulated for the kitchen redecorating...

Black & Decker BLD-T4500 4-Slice Toaster

Black & Decker BLD-T4500 4-Slice Toaster

NOV

2009

The Black and Decker BLD-T4500 4-slice toaster is a keeper. Toasting level is consistant on all sides of all bread used, whether using one slice or 4. The adjustment knob for darkness is also very uniform. I really hate those toatters where a setting of 1-5 yeilds "raw" bread, 5.5 is perfect and 5.673 gets you charcoal briquettes. This toaster gets a little bit darker as you "turn up the volume." This consistancy is preserved regardless of type of material being toasted, regular bread, Texas-style bread, bagles, whatever, they all come out the way i like. Cleaning was easy, with a nice easy to...

T-Fal Toaster - Avanti 4 Slice Toaster

T-Fal Toaster - Avanti 4 Slice Toaster
Homeowner

NOV
22
2009

We have had our T-Fal Toaster for only a couple years and it no longer works.  Two of the slots only toast on one side -- and the other two slots either toast very lightly and have to be pushed down a couple times to get toast brown or do not pop up at all and burn toast to a crisp.  We have had toasters in the past that lasted for years until they were outdated (e.g., too thin to toast bagels) and we replaced them -- not because they didn't work, but because they no longer met our toasting needs.  We are very disappointed in the short life of our T-Fal Toaster.
