Time Warner Cable - Digital Phone Service  — 

I ordered Time Warner Cable phone, Internet, and television services four months ago.  Since then, I've had phone service outages at least once a month.  Twice these outages have lasted for an entire day (the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve).  When I've called customer service, they've told me that a phone outage is an "uncommon problem" and they're working to resolve this "unexpected network difficulty."  They've told me this four times in four months.

The only phone in my home that has ever worked on their system, is the one plugged directly into the TWC modem.   On AT&T I had three working phones.  Customer service representatives have told me when I've called on this issue that they will call me back later (after they've resolved their "unexpected network difficulty") to schedule an appointment, but they never have called back. 

If you're looking for an inexpensive phone service and don't need reliability, Time Warner Cable is for you.

I am sorry you feel this way. I work for Time Warner and I do not want this type of issue reflecting badly on our company. If it works in your phone modem it sounds like an issue with your jacks in the house or possibly your other phones, but if they worked previously then this is more than likely an issue with the jacks. Hopefully going forward this issue can be resolved.
