Time Warner Cable - Company —

Time Warner, like most cable companies as of late, is busy trying to rake money in hand over fist.  Who knows, maybe the big cable telecommunication companies are expecting a nationalization of telecommunication assets in the future, so they see it as a grab-bag game.  I wouldn't recommend buying stock in these companies.

I also would recommend avoiding them at all costs.  Buy an antenna.  Watch shows online.  Get a DVD rental plan.  Buy the seasons on DVD.  Whatever.  Just don't do cable (and don't go thinking that satellite is much better).  In fact, just get rid of your TV.  You don't need it.  Stop lying to yourself.

Woohoo! Excellent advice, Sir! I whole-heartedly concur with everything you said. In our case, Time-Warner is covering for a lying service technician, and refusing to fulfill their agreement with us, although we have been billed already for it.

Good advice. Even the news is commercial.
