I have been very happy with Time-Warner Cable for many years. I have been a loud and vocal advocate for their service. Now I find myself on the outs with them. I feel like they have become very real enemies of mine. We moved to a new apartment in July. On the 31st of that month the TW tech came out to transfer our service.
While attempting to install the cable modem he realized the outlet in our livingroom was dead. So he connected it in a back bedroom to check his equipment. He then told me he would go the office of the apts. where we live and work out an arrangement to get that ourlet fixed. I signed the work-order, in good faith believing he was still on the job.
He called me back in a few minutes and told me that on the following day, Fri. Aug 1st, a Time-Warner Specialist would be out with a crew from the apts. to make the fix. I took the next day off. No one ever came. It turns out, he never spoke to anyone at that office, and there was no work-order placed for that next day.
Since then every effort I have made to interest anyone at Time-Warner as to my plight has fallen on deaf ears. They got their signed work-order and that's that. We have been lied to and cheated by Time-Warner's tech. And no one there cares at all. I am deeply saddened by this turn of events. There is no total package in San Antonio as good as TWs. But when there is a real problem, such as in this case, they would sooner have you quit then do anything positive for you.
I just want to tell Manu Ginobili, We love you man, but stop endorsing these crooks. It reflects badly on you considering what an absolute horror of a company you are representing.
