Time Warner Cable - Company —

We bought a sony Grand Wega 60" TV that is HD with our Dolby surround sound system it is a theatre at home.  We had Direct TV for 7 years with the 80gig TIVO but we wanted HD. When they came out to install it, their computer wasn't picking up the satelittes due to the large trees in our neighborhood.  So they told us we need cable for HD.

Here in Cleveland we have one & only one service Time Warner.  $50 for HD package of DVR & box.  So they installed it the next morning.  I noticed that the picture has the black sides which means it is not HD.  The technician tells me all stations are HD & I tell him he is wrong.  So I phone them & learn that 700 number channels 703,704, etc are HD nothing else.  So we go from teens to 800 channels & only 700 numbered channels are HD, so that is 10.  Even STO with the Clevland Indians is not HD.  So my husband programs the DVR to tape shows, since we can tape 2 & watch the 3rd.  But the next day the shows are not HD.  Turns out the TW tech didn't use any HDMI cables.  So we go the TW offices to get the cables & file a complaint & they tell us that they do not supply cables, we have to buy them for $100 a piece.  So we got them for $10 on the Net.  Come down to watch the news at 5AM & no picture, no sound.  I phone them & they open at 9AM.

Then 3 months later we are now billed $75 since the promo is over.  When we watch TV on the 700 channel area for HD, the shows freeze frame, even commercials make a disgusting noise.  They do not even have the Big 10 Network which has OSU games on it.  They are that cheap!

ATT is advertising UVerse, their cable which is 300 channels 163 are HD for $85 & my express Yahoo DSL will be top tier for no charge.  What they call a bundle.  But they do not have it in our neighborhood.  I got new wiring outside since a squirrel at through the dable so their technician ran a new one & told me i am all set for UVerse, but its over 3 months & nothing

I do no want to sign a new contract with TW!  Come April it will be time & UVerse better be here.

Time Warner recently left Houston because "the market was uncompetitive." It was for them, every one of your cons was a complaint of their customers.

I hate when things are not like they advertise.
