Ok, I understand that everyone has bad days but do not bring it to  work! Believe me I do not want to be calling! I need to be alittle understanding I know but why wouldn't they be in Collections? I always seem to get the mean ones. Does this happen to any of you? Am I alone in this phenomenon? I have had good expierences in  the past but for the last year I have gotten these digruntled people.

I think that thier new guide on the DVR boxes really stinks. I can not find the channels I want, I have a harder time flipping through the guide to find my channel (while alot of channels are on there twice) than I do rounding up the kids for bath time!

Hey, about your problem with trying to record a show where the channel is on the lineup more than once - I'm not sure if it is your DVR or mine, but I would try to schedule a service call for them to come out. I read your comment about this last week, and tried it on our DVR - I started recording a program on USA (it is on the program list at least twice), and then I switched to another channel, and had no problem - I was able to make the switch.

No, you are not alone. We gotten some really crabby people on the phone. It is worse now that technical calls for video are routed through Costa Rica. The English is OK, but the seem to have a really hard time getting what you are trying to tell them, so I usually wind up more angry than when I started, and calling to try to get Customer Service to see if there is a problem in our area or with a particular channel, because those guys in Costa Rica do not have a clue, they have a set script and a set of things they have been told to do, and if you try to deviate by telling them that you have already tried what they are doing, they are thrown for a loop. Used to be if you called for tech help they knew which was the DVD box and which was the regular digital box in the home. Costa Rica expects you to move the whole unit and try to find a number so they can get a clue as to which box you are having a problem with. The best way to get a real Customer Service person is to click the option for adding or deleting services, click on add services, this will take you to a real live person in sales, then tell them that you are sorry, you know they are not the people you need, and ask to speak with someone in Customer Service. Even their phone menus are messed up, and it is much harder to get hold of someone who may be able to help.
