I really love this little vacuum sealer. I use it probably a few times a week to preserve meats, leftovers, ect. for freezing. It will keep your meat, veggies and other foods many times more fresh than a ziploc or tubberware container. It is very simple to use. You simply press down on the top and watch the air being sucked out and your food safely preserved. Also, it is small enough that it doesn't take up too much space as some of the other models do. It has one major flaw that some of the later models solve. It won't let you control the amount of air being sucked out. For example, I tried to vacuum seal chocolate chip cookies and it turned them into a mushy mass of cookie. Wish I could control the amount of air sucked out, but it's excellent for freezing meats, meals, ect.
