The Tiger Balm Neck and Shoulder Rub is excellent. My shoulders always hurts because I constantly slouch and I play sports often, so when I apply the Tiger Balm on my shoulders, the pain lessens greatly. Concerning the smell, many people may find the smell off-putting because their not used to this unique smell. However, I find it soothing and relaxing. Also, the cream in the Tiger Balm makes it easy to apply and has great moisture. It can easily be applied on your skin, but you should only put a small amount, or else it would be too strong. What caught my eye in the store, to buy this, was the packaging. The Tiger Balm has such unique and pretty packaging, so I decided to buy this product among the many other shoulder relieving balms. I definitely recommend giving this to a friend or family member (or even yourself), if they have pain or discomfort in their neck and shoulders.

Lately my headaches have been increasing due to work and school. Advil is not cutting it lately and my Mom has been noticing. She recommended for me to dab some Tiger Balm ointment on my forehead to help, and it did! The smell is a bit strong but it's O.K because the smell also made me relax in a way. It has a tingling sensation when you apply it to the area which helps you think it's working. You know the saying, "mind over body." I believe it helped me speed up the recovery, within 30 minutes my headache was gone. Sometimes I go straight to this instead of taking advil since taking too much advil could be bad for you. My sister also has leg problems and she has said this ointment has helped relieve some of her sore muscles. We both have sensitive skin and the Tiger Balm Ointment has been good to our skin. No cracks, acne, or rashes. Some other muscle ointments can cause this to skin but this ointment is tame and works perfectly with our skin type.

I received a sample of the Tiger Balm Neck & Shoulder Rub in the mail from the manufacturer.  I was excited to try it since I was having some shoulder pain.  I think to truly rate this product, I have to examine the claims: *"Refresh sore neck & shoulder muscles. . . It's a cool and refreshing feeling."*  I have to admit that I was not hurting anymore after I used the cream.  It felt fine on my skin.  I don't remember it feeling cool, but it was easy to rub in.  *"Rejuvenate the senses with aromatherapy.  Upon initial application, the traditional Tiger Balm scent awakens the senses and then dissipates in about 10 minutes.  The scent vanishes, and people around you will not be able to tell you have it on."*  Um, no.  The Tiger Balm smelled so strong, my eyes were watering and I was coughing.  I smelled it on my skin for at least an hour, so I know that 10 minute claim is wrong. I would not recommend using the Tiger Balm cream unless you want to smell like the mint section of a spice store.  If you are in a lot of pain, it might be worth it, but it just wasn't for me.

     A friend of mine came across a free sample of Tiger Balm neck and shoulder rub and decided to sign up for it, which I was very grateful for, since lately I have been experiencing neck and shoulder pain.   I guess she was tired of seeing me with a cricked neck so she gave me her sample to try.  The first thing I really liked about this product is the smell, it was not so overpowering that when I walked into a room that was all any one could smell; secondly, it truly penetrated deep into my muscles to relieve the discomfort; thirdly, it lasted a bit longer than other muscle rubs.  It relaxed my sore muscles and relieved the pain and discomfort within minutes.  It didn't leave a film on my skin or make my skin break out after using it.  Other muscle rubs tend to clog my pores after I use them and then my skin gets irritated.  The only thing that I wish were different was that I would love for the sample size to be bigger. :)

My sister-in-law is a massage therapist and she recommended tiger balm to us. My wife loves it and uses it alot whenever she gets back or neck aches.  She puts it on before bedtime and most of the time it helps overnight and she feels a lot less pain in the morning. It has that menthol or medicated type smell and gets hot after you put it on.  My wife says it's not very hot but I think it is pretty hot and don't really like it because of that.  I have used it and it does help, but the hotness of it on my skin drives me crazy.  So I guess if you are a person who doesn't mind the heat, or actually likes it, like my wife does, than this would be a great product for you.  Yes, I know it's suppossed to get hot, I just don't like that kind of heat.  It also goes on nice and smooth and seems to absorb well into the skin without lieaving a sticky residue.  It seems to also wash away fine when you shower.  Just make sure that you wash your hands after applying because if you accidentally rub your eye or something, you'll be sorry.

I suffer from tendonitis in my arm which can cause me quite a bit of pain.  My husband has been trying to convince me to try Tiger Balm for a while now but I was afraid that it would burn.  I was also afraid to try this product because I have hyper allergic skin.  I had such pain in my arm one evening that I was willing to try just about anything and now I wonder what I was waiting for!  I used a very small amount as I was concerned about how powerful it might be.  It did have a strong menthol smell so if I was headed out somewhere that I did not want to smell like a giant mint, I would not use it at that time.  It did however clear my sinuses without burning my eyes or throat.  The product worked quickly to relieve my muscle pain and was not sticky or thick.  I was able to rub it completely into my skin and it relieved the pain for many hours.  I did not have an adverse reactions to this product in spite of my very sensitive skin.  I will most certainly use it again.

I have always had a jar of Tiger Balm around for stiff hands and was delighted to see the new 'Neck & Shoulder' rub.  A cream makes it easy to apply - and like the other original Tiger Balm - only a small dab is needed to cover a large area.  Great absorption and that famous warm Tiger Balm smell - which always help relieve any additional stress you may have tied up in your neck & shoulders.Now I stock both in my house and would recommend to anyone.
