This camera filter is subtle but it works
a Canon digital camera owner, a Photoshop user, looking for better photos

I have a Canon PowerShot G7 camera, which is about as good as you can get in a compact point-and-shoot camera. (Okay, there's now a G9, but the G7 is still pretty darn good.) There's even an adapter to mount filters to the G7, and the right filter can make a photo look better than nature. In an effort to improve my landscape photography, I bought a Tiffen 58WRMUV filter for $26 from B&H Photo.

What it is

This lens enhances the color of almost any scene.
looking for better photos, wary of cheap batteries, a travel photographer, looking for a bargain

Tiffen is one of the leaders in affordable lens.  This lens will fit snugly to the camera and is easy to install.  It tends to enhance colors across a wide range.  It will not, however, provide any dramatic enhancement and does not filter out all haze.
