When we first got our cat four years ago, I didn't know a thing about them.  I bought all kinds of different cat litters and hated them all.  The ones with the rocks are horrible, the ones with the sand are even worse and NONE of them helped with the odor of having a litter box.  And… read full review »

With 12 cats/kittens (not all mine!) in the house at the moment, we go through a lot of cat litter.  There are some wonderful, expensive products that I really love but money has been tight this summer and I haven't been able to afford them.  My standby litter is Tidy Cats because it is… read full review »

I am owned by 3 cats who let me feed and clean up after them. But they reward me with lots of laughs and love. One thing in my household, it has to smell clean. I have a very sensitive sense of smell which can be a curse as well as a pleasure. — — I happened upon a coupon which gave me quite a bit off on Tidy Cats Scoop, crystal blend cat litter. So I decided to give it a try. Am I ever glad I did! — — Tidy cats scoop has tiny crystals that actually absorb and eliminate that God awful cat box smell even before it starts! Since I have 3 cats I bought one of those… read full review »

YUCK, this stuff is nasty.  The clumps of urin fall apart during the scooping process, making it difficult to get all the used litter out.  The smell is so disguisting.  Just imagine a mouldy orange mixed with cat poop and pee..............not my idea of a good smell.  — My cats hate this litter and will only use the box that it's in if I have the other room closed off.  They will seriously hold it as long as they have to then make a beline for the box that has fresh step in it.  — On the plus side there is almost no cloud of dust when I pour this… read full review »

I like this stuff and the way it smells.  It is not overpowering but has a pleasant citrus smell almost like a mild air freshener.  It could be a little better though if it clumped a little more solid and didn't leave little pieces at times.  It is less expensive than the crytals blend and seems to work the same. — … read full review »

I found this new product about four months ago. I brought home a new kitten and of course, needed to get litter. — I feel this clumps better than any of the other "clumpable" litters. I do not notice any cat smells with this litter, even if I get busy and don't clean daily. — This is the litter I will use from now on. —… read full review »

This is a covered litter box that has a lift-up flap to aid in reaching the litter for scooping.  It really helps!  It's no longer necessary to take the entire cover off to clean.  It also has a place for a charcoal filter.  My cat's seem to like it as… read full review »

We have a decent sized two story home which houses 3 senior citizen cats and 3 litter boxes to meet their needs.  We have one box downstairs in the half bathroom; as they spend much of the day lounging in the sunshine or on the couches downstairs, this box gets used the most. The other boxes reside in our bedroom and the guest bedroom.   We had been faithfully using a brand of litter that was good at clumping but the cost was rising and the dust and tracking was less appealing as time went on.  — We decided to try the Tidy Cats Small Spaces litter when it went… read full review »

We have 3 indoor kitties.  Our newest was a rescue kitten from a lady with cancer who has since passed.  When we brought kitty #3 home, she immediately became my sidekick - almost like a dog - never leaving my side.  Since  I have a home office I work out of and decided to accommodate her with her own litter box.  In this small space I worried about cleanliness and odor. —  With this litter, there is no reason to worry.  It clumps well and covers the odor tremendously.  I use regular Tidy Cat in the other part of the house for the real litter box… read full review »

My husband and I have been using this litter exclusively for over a year.  We both hate to clean the box, and when I was pregnant, sometimes their box didn't get cleaned for almost a week.  They seemed to handle it better with this litter than a previous version of tidy cats clumping.  — Sometimes the urine clumps fall apart, especially if the cat(s) tend to urinate in the same spot before you get a chance to clean the box.  However, I think this is the case with most clumping litters, not something specific to this brand. — … read full review »

My husband and I have tried a lot of cat litters and this one is okay....but not worth the extra money over the store brand. Our cat always goes at the front and back of the litter box....so we had huge clumps of litter with this one.  They would always break as you are trying to put them in the bag.  The clumps also seemed to stay wet when next to the plastic.  We did not have a problem with the smell and our cat could care less about what type of litter she has in her box.  We are just staying with the store brand clumping… read full review »

This is the worst cat litter I have ever tried. I just bought on Monday and washed out the litter box and filled with Tidy cat small spaces. The next morning my entire bedroom smelled like a foul citrusy dirty cat box, even though the box was fresh. The smell is nauseating and so strong, I had to move the box outside into the living room just to be able to sleep. I will never repurchase and have to wash and throw away all the entire new box in just 3 days of useage. The smell of the new litter is worse than that of a dirty old literbox, it is so… read full review »

I love my cats. But when it comes to litter I am very picky. I think that it depends on the household thats got the pets. I have noticed that when I change liters like to this one my cats hate it. They will use the floor rather than use the liter box. This one to me doesnt clump like it should and it has alot of dust. The dust is very important I have asthma and I really need to have a liter with less dust. Also this liter doesnt cover up the smells either. I have checked other brands to find the right one that does everything that I want it… read full review »

The first time I tried Small Spaces from Tidy Cat I loved it! It has a nice fresh citrus scent that is som much better that other litters. I guess the citrus is what helps in "small" spaces. We have 5 inside cats and 3 litter boxes in our house, which are cleaned outed every day. Even though none of the boxes are in "small" spaces I have pretty much decided we will primarily use only this litter. The only drawback that I have on this, is that it costs over $2 more per container than the other Tidy Cat litters.… read full review »

Although this litter is one of the better litters I have tried, It's not always my first choice.  I have two cats who use the same box so I am emptying litter quite often (at least twice daily).  This litter has very little dust and clumps quite well, but there is something about the smell.  I can't quite put  a finger on what it smells like but it's not really pleasant.  And of course the smell is stronger when wet.  I still buy it but only when it's such a bargain it's too good to pass… read full review »
