With four cats in my household, I have tried many types of litter. I liked the odor control of Tidy Cats Crystals, but my cats didn't like the texture of the crystal-only litter. I also didn't think they controlled urine odor very well. Then Tidy Cats came out with the Crystals Blend, and I have been very happy with it. It combines the best aspects of the crystals with a high-quality scooping/clumpable litter.The only negative I've seen is that it's a little sticky ... it clings to the cats' toes, and they track it out of the boxes. Putting in a mat under the boxes helps a lot with that. It's not too serious a problem. I don't think it outweighs the positives of controlling odor, clumping well and being attractive to my cats.

I am really of the opinion that for the most part, all cat litter is created equal. But we were buying a new kitten and for some reason felt it necessary to buy a more expensive cat litter- after all, more expenisve products are better, right? Well the Tidy Cats had the fancy crystals that are supposed to absorb odor, etc... and when you get down to the bottom line? In my opinion cat littler is still cat litter and I don't see a lot of difference in the brands so long as you buy the scoopable kind. The Tidy cats was good but since the first jug I have switched to the Aldi store brand and been just as pleased with it- even without the fancy, odor-absorbing crystals. If we had multiple cats I might try to find a stronger formula, but for our one cat the store brands work just fine and save a lot of money.

I love this!! To me it smells like laundry soap. So its a fitting smell for our laundry room. I hardly ever smell used litter. Somedays i just get to busy that i cant get to cleaning the litterbox and it still holds up very well. I have two cats that use it and holds up for them just fine! I have tried others that just get wet and sit there. And smell!!! I recommand this to anyone for sure! My mother tried it in her automatic litter box too and worked great. And she has now switched. before she would only buy one kind cause it was the only one they could get to actualy clump and get picked up in the littermaid. But after smelling this one she gave it a try and uses it. If you want a fresh smell instead of urine i would get this one! I also have tried the green label on and it smells pretty good but i like this one better! Great value too!

Tidy Cats Crystals is the best cat litter ever! I don't know what is so magical about it, but the little crystals but suck in all those icky smells. it's my twelve year old daughter's job to empty our cat's litter box and she always forgets. With other litters we have used the smell would carry thoughout the house. But with Tidy Cats Crystals cat litter the smell is non-existant! It is also super easy for my daughter to clean the litter box out, which is one less complaint going through my ears. A friend of mine recommended the Tidy Cat Crystals cat litter brand to me and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who has a feline friend in their home!

Currently, I am sharing my home with five furry friends (number five just moved in after refusing to return to her own home). However, I've had as many as eight at times. Also, I've been owned by cats for over forty years. So I can confidently say that I am an expert on kitty litter. I like Tidy Cats Scoop cat litter. I use several of the Tidy Cats scoop products, but the "Crystals" variety is one of my favorites. It does a REALLY good job containing litter box odors. This is, of course the most important consideration. It is very hard to hide the fact that several cats live in a home if they are inside cats. But these crystals absorb odors and the odor containment lasts a long time. My only complaint is the sharpness of the crystals. Although there is little dust with this product (always an issue with clumping litter), the cats still track some of the crystals onto the floor and they are very sharp under a bare foot. I was worried about how that affected my cats' paws, but two of my cats actually seem to prefer the litter boxes with crystals. (I also use clumping litter elsewhere) So I suppose they don't mind the crystals under paws. Of course the best cat litter in the world will not help unless the humans do their part. You should clean the solid waste out of the litter box daily. You should also stir the crystals. Particularly if you have multiple cats. I think the stirring allows the moisture to evaporate faster makes the litter last longer. And more than one cat means more than one litter box. But with daily attention to litter box hygiene, using this cat litter means people will not know you have multiple cats the minute they step in the front door. Unless of course they are attack cats! ;)

We haven't had a ton of experience with Tidy Cats yet since we've only had our kitty for a little under a month now, but so far I have been very pleased for the price that we paid with this cat litter. We had always used the cheapest store brand litter we could find with our last cat and it did the job, but by 3 or 4 days in, the box really stank. Granted we didn't scoop it but rather changed the entire pan of litter about once a week, but still, toward the end of the week the laundry room was overwhelmed with a strong ammonia smell. This time around we decided to use the clumping litter in an effort to keep the smell down and try to keep the house a little cleaner. So far so good with Tidy Cats. We bought the jug about a month ago and I've only had to add a very small amount to the pan even though we scoop it at least every other day. I can smell the cat's box immediately after she uses it but not much after that- good price, good product!

I love Tidy Cats litter and have used it for years! It keeps down the smell, clumps well and is easily scoopable. But I cannot use this formula. I don't know if the material is too large or not absorbant enough, but for me, it didn't clump well at all, and the waste just went straight through the litter to stick to the bottom/sides of the litter box! If you choose to buy Tidy Cats, you're safe with any formula besides this one.

Tidy Cats Power Blend Cat Litter works in our four cat household. I need to stress economic value as a retiree, but I hate the sharp, annoying smell of the litter box when I've used the truly cheap litter. It's embarassing when people come over, and you can see them wrinkle their noses when they walk in the door. We do use more litter in the pans than recommended, as our felines are extremely fastidious and won't use the pans if "things" aren't well buried. I change out the pans once a month, scooping daily and topping off with fresh litter. I like the fact this litter isn't dusty, which would bother my asthma, and the non-tracking consistancy keeps the floor clean. I hate the crunchy feel of litter under bare feet! I appreciate the 20 pound size jug for several reasons. I can actually lift it and manouver it when working on the pans. It stores easily in limited space, too. We live in a hurricane prone area and need to store water for flushing in the event power goes off (last time it was off a week), and county water wasn't working. The jug holds quite a bit of water. For a variety of reasons, Tidy Cats Power Blend Litter works for the cats and  meets my criteria, too.

I have two cats and do not like to clean my litter box very often.  I have tried many different cat litters, and Tidy Cats Crystals Blend litter is the best that I have found.  It is a clumping litter, which makes it easy to scoop, and there is very little dust when you pour the litter into the box.  I am able to clean my 2 litter boxes one or two times a week and keep the basement smelling fresh.  After a couple weeks of just scooping though the litter will get very stinky very quickly and then I know that it is time to throw away all the litter and replace the box with fresh litter.  One of my cats also had some skin allergy issues and we have not had any problems since we switched to this kind of litter.  One of my only complaints with this product is that it does not come in a larger container- since I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes I wouldn't mind a huge container of it like most of their other litters but for some reasons my local stores do not have this in a bigger container.
